Hampton by Hilton London Stansted Airport

We were a family of 8 ranging from 87 - 6 years We ordered food at the restaurant, we were not told there was a wait for the food. We had 3 type 1 diabetics in our group. We waited an hour for our food to be brought out by which time 2 of the diabetic’s blood sugars had gone low and had to be treated somewhat spoiling their meal. The waitress was lively and very apologetic but all we needed was some accurate timings instead of being told it will be here soon. The meal wasn’t up to your normal standard (we have stayed many times before) I get that it was really busy but you know how many rooms you have booked out so in my opinion you should have the staff available to service them

The staff at the hotel in all area's were very friendly, happy and nothing was too much trouble. Top marks to this hotel and I would definately recommend

Could be any budget airport hotel, didn’t stand out as a Hilton should.

Reception was good. I was advised that there was no drop off fee for hotel guests after it had been paid. The signage outside is unclear. The television didn't work.

Suitable for an early morning flight with breakfast available very early.

Having stayed at the other hotel attached to Stansted I'd have to say this is much better. Quiet and very comfortable with a good breakfast and helpful staff

I have stayed here a few times. Such a convenient location walking distance to the airport for an early morning flight. I wish they would leave some water in the room, the bar area so busy when you just need water! Would stay again.

Excellent room, spotlessly clean and a great breakfast in the morning. My only complaint is that - like too many hotels - they wash the sheets in some extremely potent chemicals which gave me a very itchy rash on my legs.

Very happy with my room, clean, quiet and comfortable. I had dinner and breakfast, both were very good. Staff were all friendly and helpful especially in the restaurant.

Great location, easy to reach transport means to London.
