Hilton London Kensington

Only here for 2 days and The reception and bar areas of the hotel were of a good standard but the room we had was very dated. The shower had a sliding door and step to get inside…fortunately we are not large people but it would be very difficult if not impossible for larger folk to get in and out of shower! The room and bathroom were very small…no hooks to hang damp towels and no drinking glasses in the bathroom. The mini bar was empty. I found the reception and concierge staff very polite and helpful

You get what you pay for

Stayed here a few times on buisness trips with colleagues, all women. They put us all right next to each other as requested. Check in was easy and rooms were clean. Slept really well. Overall really good.

Good location - friendly staff and clean. Very expensive bar - large glass of wine was £13.50

Wish they had free breakfast

The hotel is old and needs an upgrade. The lobby is good. The staff is friendly. Noisy since we are facing the main street. Good location though for the underground.

Friendly hotel, arrived early and checked in without even having to ask. Made to feel very welcome!

We had asked two things from the concierge on our 2 nd day 1. For water glasses in the bathroom 2. To have someone explain the heating system as at times the room was a bit cold Neither of these small requests were dealt with. Other than these minor complaints ,we enjoyed the location and walk ability of the hotel.

Hotel is coming to the need for rennovation

Met expectations-- it was clean, comfortable, very near to two bus stops as well as a tube station.

Was ok. The hotel is getting old but good value for money

Location is great - staff friendly and helpful - room and bathroom smaller than expected for “ American” hotel and shower had a big step down which was difficult for husbands bad knees- we stayed here 15 years ago and knees were definitely younger!

On arrival informed both rooms had been upgraded. Very excited! However both rooms very outdated and in desperate need of an upgrade. Old badly scratched in need of repair wood, Luckily we had only booked one night, otherwise we would have asked to move.

Close to nottinghill

While the decor is a little dated, the hotel is well maintained, clean and well kept. Love the breakfast buffet. Access to public transport is good and it is within walking distance to a large mall. Loved my stay.

Really nice hotel in a good area near the Westfield Centre. Lovely friendly staff, a good breakfast but crazy busy which put me off on one of the days. Only other issue was really low water pressure in the shower...but otherwise an excellent hotel and stay

The hotel it’s self is more like shepherds Bush than Kensington. The underground parking is a massive plus and there is plenty of it. All the staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough for you. The hotel its self is dated. The rooms are tiny and are due a good refurbishment. The shower was the worst shower I’ve ever had in a hotel. That said the bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

The hotel was ok for bed comfy and having a fridge in the room, plus nice size bathroom. The breakfast was amazing, such choice. Only thing that was not good was the whole hotel was far to hot in temperature and the room climate control wasn’t good, fan even on cool and high didn’t help cool down the room at all.
