Holiday Inn Express LONDON-ROYAL DOCKS, DOCKLANDS, an IHG Hotel

I was put into room 315 twin room for me and my daughter and I was disappointed at the condition of the carpet stained on the entrance to the room and the back of the bathroom door wood panel chipped at the bottom. Also the painted surface near the toilet area was black from mould. I would not say this was a 3 star hotel more like a 2 star for the condition of the room I was put into and not liking the view at the back of the room looking at a derelict building not a pretty view. To finish on a positive note though the staff were friendly and attentive and the breakfast choice especially gluten free was good. Location of hotel excellent for tube station

A great stay , great clean room , only issue the shower either red hot or freezing cold , I had the cold shower which very brief , I’m guessing that was one of the eco initiatives, but it didn’t affect my stay

Convenient for Excel

We stayed here after a concert at the O2 arena and it was perfect. Such a convenient location being so close to a tube station, McDonalds, Sainsbury’s local etc. Check in was super easy and our family room (1 double a sofa bed) was PERFECT for the three of us. Beds were comfy and room was clean and surprisingly quiet facing the road. Excellent for a night or two, would definitely stay again.

The breaks are amazing, good quality food

Very bad experience overall. My car was stolen from the car park and the staff was saying this is always happening. I asked for cctv footage and they said they can't show me . I don't know what to say, either they know what happened or they don't care about customers service.

Great hotel for a couple of nights. Room had everything we needed. Not far from underground and bus stop. Breakfast was just ok. Wouldn't have paid extra for it. Pull out bed could have been comfier but all in all it was a nice stay

Check in was quick and effortless. The breakfast buffet was fantastic Staff were very helpful at all times. Only complaints i have were that the road was a bit noisy and room was a bit warm, however both of these things are out of the hotels control

Claudio and the front staff were all very attentive and useful. Facilities were clean, and the breakfast was varied and of quality. I would recommend to my peers and family.

Convenient for the tube. Uncomfortable sofa bed and very cold room, no sleep. Smell of smoke and then cannabis smell from the car park after having the window open to air the room. Sofa bed really needs replacing, impossible to sleep on it unfortunately. Very disappointed with the very basic facilities and lack of comfort.

The bathroom and sink was really dirty the kettle was dirty and the floor mat was disgusting I will definitely not choose this hotel again.

Requested double beds, all 3 room bookings were given twins and was informed that it was subject to availability. Don't think this was made clear enough when booking. Bathroom had seen better days.
