ibis Styles Birmingham NEC and Airport

The hotel was warm and welcoming on a cold damp winters day. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good all round.

All rooms not same comfort. More professionalism needed on reception. Management needs looking at.

We attended the Spring Fair at the NEC which was a great location. Short walk through an industrial part - follow the blue line. Good experience, friendly staff.

Great location, sign posted from Birmingham International station perfectly. Only downside was a bad night's sleep. I don't sleep well when I travel anyway, but there seemed to be a permanent humming from another rooms a/c. Wouldn't stop me using again though.

Fine for a single night stay or.if you are at the NEC.

The hotel was really convenient for NEC, and the train station to get into Birmingham centre, literally 5 minute walk. It was really clean with nice warm rooms (we had a family room). All staff were really friendly and the breakfast was great. I will definitely use again.

Good clean room and good eating options. Only downside was that the bed is very hard.

Execllent hotel for short stay for B/ham airport. Just needs double glazing. Good food options room execellent

When checking in, a new person was being trained so that might have affected my experience. I was given my key but no other information about food options or breakfast or how to get to my room so had to ask. When I went to my initial room, the door opened and it was clearly someone else's room as their bags etc were there. This concerned me as a security risk. I went back and was given another key and a weak apology. The room was small but comfortable and clean and I slept well. In the morning, I wanted to ask reception how to walk to the airport but noone was around so managed to figure it out though got a bit lost. Overall, the room was fine for an overnight but customer service could be better.

Great stay, ease for airlport. Rooms were nice , food good for bar service. Breakfast could do with starting early, or have a cold take away option
