Friendly helpful team at the handily placed ibis styles near LHR Terminal 3. It was a warm welcome on arrival. The lounge/bar staff were great and a nice way to start the holiday with family.

Proximity to the airport, so close! Caution: If you are taking a tax from the airport, stress it is for the Ibis STYLES and give them the address (several times). It is beside the Esso station, only about 5 minutes from the Heathrow Terminal. I gave the taxi driver the typed-up hotel information, including address. Plus we questioned him several times, stressing the address because we felt he was driving too far. Yet, he dropped us off at another Ibis hotel, further down the road. 20 Pounds later, we had to get yet another taxi to get us to the correct hotel. That driver told us the Black Taxis, who are allowed to operate at the airport, often drop off passengers at the wrong location. He said we were the 5th on that day. Once you arrive at the correct hotel locations, please keep in mind that the price quoted to Terminal 3 (Pound 16.50) is not what you will be paying. There is another charge for the drop-off, imposed by the airport, which is 6 pounds.

Very convenient location, just one short bus to Heathrow's terminals. However, when I checked in, the front desk wasn't very friendly, and the receptionist took his time to start serving me. The room was okay but was a bit dated.
