Leonardo Hotel Liverpool

The Hotel is very tired, TV did not work the key card slipped into the door entry and maintenance had to remove it. Shower did not work so had to take the knob off to start the water running. Overall it was disappointing So not great

My room was dated. The price we paid and the photos gave me a false impression and I felt the staff were unresponsive. BTW - if your VIP status says you get a room upgrade and 20% off food and bev on hotels.com ….. forget it

Great stay here again. Rooms always clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Worst stay I had here. Called up and the hotel have done nothing to rectify the issue. Management is non existent and I feel sorry for anyone having to stay here under the current regime. Avoid at all costs. Rooms double allocated. Walked in on an older woman getting changed in her room. Staff shouting and swearing at eachother and guests. Came here once a week and it was great. Now it is an absolute mess If your booking says ‘free parking on site’ - prepare to pay for parking. Absolute joke

We had a great time in.liverpool. the staff at tgecrecrption were extremely friendly and accomadating. The only things tgat would put me off not stsyibg again was the shower was a bit dated and broken. Also wevtried to order room service but the phone was being hung up on 2 occasions, i tealisevtgat tge hotel was busy but would have been nice to be able to order some food.

great location,staff very friendly and helpful....great night's sleep but lacking room facilities like lock safe,mini fridge and bathroom moisturizers

Handy for the M&S Bank Arena

I stayed for comic-con. We got there on the Thursday because we were already aware they had no parking in your hat to use an outside source for that the problem was when we arrived. I was told that the price had changed from £12 a night to 18 for the car park so for four days it cost me £72 which I think is very stupid and excessive. I’m autistic and I had it in writing that I would be charged 12 so I was quite stressed out thinking I’m now being charged £18 a day. on top of the fact the hotel is the most expensive one we’ve ever stayed in and we stayed in London in the Premier Inn and it wasn’t half price. Is this one? I don’t go much on the actual Hotel to be fair that the location was great obviously you were next-door to the MS Arena sorry for the comic, it was great but when we first arrived, the bathroom was dirty. There was people’s hair around the back of the toilet and on the floor and inside the bath so we had to clean it we didn’t have anyone coming into service our rooms because we are an autistic family. We can’t have people in our rooms at all but I was a bit more wary with the sign post that was on the door on the way out that says do not leave any valuables in your room so we have to keep taking our valuables in a bag and putting it in the car boot until we got back and then had to walk all the way back to the car to get the bag out again, which was a bit annoying and a bit frustrating considering my children need their iPads, etc. We would not stay there agai

I spent two nights at the Leonardo Hotel in Liverpool, the check-in was quick, also the staff were friendly. The room was spacious, however, there were stains on the rug. I enjoyed the breakfast. I loved that cold water was available in the lobby throughout the day. Check out was also quick.

Great stay,only down side was the single bed my disabled daughter was in, was on wheels ( no breaks on it ) it moved when she went to get in it.but everything else was great.so close to the Comic-Con ,the reason we stayed there.lovely staff,only had to ask if we needed anything.

Beautiful clean hotel modern next to the docks

Right in front of the Royal Albert Dock. Easy walking distance to the city center. Variety of dining options. Very pleasant and friendly staff.

The hotel is now slightly dated and in need of a refurbishment but in saying that it is a great hotel. In prime location right by Kings Dock parking which gives a discount to users staying at hotel. Get your hotel receipt stamped by reception then present to parking offie upon leaving. The hotel staff are absolutely wonderful so friendly and helpful. You cant go wrong staying at the hotel. You have to pay extra for breakfast if not part of your booking but it is a full breakfast. Walk across the bridge and book a tour of the city worthwhile. Recommend hotel and will stay there again.

Great location

The only issue was the lack of taxi's in the vicinity. The hotel called a taxi for me but it didn't arrive, my mum has mobilty issues and is recovering from surgery and walks with a stroller, we ended having to walk over a mile into the city centre to find a taxi rank. For that reason, i wouldn't stay there again, if I had mum with me.

Only complaint we have was we couldn’t find anyone in the parking area (kings dock)) to help claim our discount on the parking fee, everything else was fine
