Novotel London Stansted Airport

Although admittedly they were short staffed on arrival, they responded to our requests in amazingly pleasing time. Everyone was very responsive, kind, and professional. I felt every employee was proud of their posistion, unlike competitors whose employees who wished they were somewhere else. Thank you Novotel London Stansted.

This hotel is in desperate need of a refresh. The overall appearance is quite tired, it could really benefit from a fresh coat of paint and a thorough deep clean. The beds were extremely soft, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep, and the lack of soundproofing meant we were frequently disturbed by other guests coming and going. As well as the noise of the planes! If you're simply looking for somewhere close by and aren't too concerned about comfort or quality of sleep, this place might suit your needs. Otherwise, you may want to consider other options.

Very disappointed to have to pay £15 parking. Bad enough but we were only staying until 3am in the morning.

Good location, welcoming staff

Great location by the airport. We arrived late due to our plane was delayed, which was no problem. Check in was quick and easy.

Very easy accesses from airport and rooms are comfortable.

I couldn’t fault my stay. Was clean, staff were very friendly, easy to understand and my room service I ordered was very quick! The bed was comfy and check out was super easy. The shuttle also took me straight to the airport. Would highly recommend this hotel :)

We always stop here as it’s easy, and the staff are always friendly. The rooms are spot on, always spotless and quiet. The food in the bar/restaurant could use improving a bit as tends to be lower quality than it could be. Other than that, it’s spot on and we’ll only ever stop here!

Good stay with early morning flight. Had trouble getting out the gate which is not what you want at 3.30am

Tired Novotel at Stansted airport - access was okay, we arrived at 11.30 pm, tired and ready to hit the bed only the guy on reception kept us there for ages, despite us saying how tired we were and that we'd already paid!! Had to fork out an extra £15 for one night of parking - ridiculous. Our twin room was a bit tight on space although the shower was a decent size. Windows were nailed shut so no fresh air available. Noisy with the airplanes taking off the next morning, seemed to be no attempt to soundproof this airport hotel. Breakfast was decent, no porridge for my gluten free veggie friend, but she was okay with fruit and yoghurt. Highlight was the hashbrowns... All in all, wouldn't choose it again, would opt for somewhere else on our long trip north.

15 minute bus ride to airport. Friendly staff who gave us 2 complimentary drinks for my partner's birthday. Comfy bed, big TV and easy check out

Ticks the box for a one night stay before an early morning flight. Although you can definitely hear the planes throughout the night and morning so not the quietest. Shuttle comes every 30 mins to and from the terminal and costs £4 which I personally think should be included with the room cost. Otherwise clean and comfortable
