Sandman Signature London Gatwick Hotel

Great pre airport stay. Car park is small and so are the spaces so watch out if you arrive late

This was a last minute reservation for 3 nights. From the minute I stepped into the lobby I was pleased with the choice I had made. Sometimes its the little things that make the overall picture so great, like the bookshelve with books to sit, read and relax and the coffee machine with an excellent choice of great tasting coffee The hotel was extremely clean, the staff at the front desk went above and beyond to help me with my many needs. If you require room service, clean towels etc, you have to request this as it is not a daily thing. I will definitely be returning here, so convenient for Gatwick Airport.

The woman at the reception sesk was exceptional in her help and friendliness.

Told I had to pay an extra £20 , we did arrive early and they had the room ready but wanted the extra money because it’s their policy to now charge, never had this happen before and have been to sandman more than 40 times won’t go back, disappointed

I would like to start off by saying the staff was very friendly and I think they were fantastic at the front desk. The room however was mediocre at best with low quality beds and sheets that felt like sandpaper. The water never got hot in the shower and the air conditioner turned on (loudly) and off every 30 seconds so we ended up just turning it off and was just warm. It’s only 10 mins to the airport but still costs around £20 to get to and from the airport. For one night it was tolerable but I would not recommend this hotel if you can find an alternative.

My friend and I were staying for one night and shopped all day and just wanted to chill out in our room for the night and decided to have room service. The menu looked loved - when I rang to order I was told that a £6 charge would be charged to bring it up to the fourth floor in a lift!!! So I went down and got it myself - the food tho was terrible!!! I ordered a pizza and it was tastless, chicken was plain chicken when it should have been chargrilled I think, I had two slices of pepper when it said with peppers (surely not just two) and basil but no basil present, the dough was not very nice either and all for the bargin price of £17!!!!! My friend had the chicken burger which she said was very agerage We also had to pay for parking even though we were staying there - whats that all about?? Also were told if we wanted breakfast (£13.95 each) we could book it there and then but if we did it on the day it would be (16.95 each)????? Would not recommend to eat there and wont be returning

Amazing stay pool, spa and gym just make it extra. Super relaxing and nice quiet stay. Staff friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended with everything you need.

Hotel has nice common areas but the room was a bit tired. I sent a message on hotels.com to ask for a cot because we were arriving late with a baby. No reply. When we arrived no cot in the room. There was also a machine noise coming from the outside wall which made it hard to sleep.

Attended a wedding, great service, friendly staff and comfortable rooms

It was a lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The property was clean and well maintained. Only problem was finding a way to get ti it on foot as Google maps was trying to direct us around a round about with out an obvious footpath

Excellent stay. Very convenient for Gatwick Airport, Brighton and local attractions in Crawley such as Go Karts, Tilgate Park and Zoo.

Very clean and omfortable

The hotel was nice and our stay was comfortable - staff was great but the restaurant seemed understaffed in general. Our dinner took an extraordinarily long time (almost an hour with a toddler at the table and only a few tables in the restaurant). The pool was nice but they were out of towels when we visited. Beds were comfortable!

The hotel was conveniently located and had a good interior. Breakfast was good but the dairy alternative milks were not chilled or fresh and had gone off as it curdled when added to tea. The bedroom was a good size and had the number of beds needed but didn’t seem like it had been used in a while so needed a vacuum and wipe down. I found a few hairs in the bedsheets. Staff seemed pleasant, polite and responsive; nothing was ever too much of an issue.

Comfortable, clean. Only complaint was a/c kept switching on and off constantly and was noisy and was disappointed there was no free shuttle to/from lgw.

Good stopover location for Gatwick airport. Bar closes a tad early and no food options for late arrival in hotel with last orders at 22:30. Well cleaned but looking worn in places. Overall happy with our stay, the breakfast and price.
