Sandman Signature London Gatwick Hotel

We checked in after midnight as we need to stay for one night before return home. Check in process was efficient and took only a few minutes. Reception lady was courteous and efficient. Would certainly stay again if needed in future.

Wir können das Sandmans in jeder Hinsicht wärmstens empfehlen. Es gibt nichts auszusetzen. Wir werden dieses Hotel bei einem nächsten Aufenthalt sicher wieder buchen.

Hotel was ok, nice clean rooms, bar and restaurant. Friendly staff, a taxi ride from the airport not walkable

Quiet and can nvenient

A great place for an overnight near Gatwick. A Tesco is 10 min walk way and the train Three Bridges 15min, so easily connected. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the breakfast provided was very satisfying. However, I found the transportation from the airport to the hotel to be quite expensive. I was also assigned a room with a wall blocking the view, which wasn’t a significant issue since my stay was brief. That said, I’ve noticed a recurring trend when booking through Expedia: I often receive rooms without windows, limited natural light, or lacking basic amenities like a bathroom. Additionally, the deals through Expedia have not proven to be any more cost-effective than booking directly with the hotel.

Nice hotel conveniently located to K2 Crawley, good facilities but steam room needs fixing - not hot and a bit dirty. Pool great however. Good room, lots of towels, good telly and beds, and nice smelling products. Only thing I'd say is staff in bar are very young and should be teamed up with experienced/older members (or security) on a weekend night. Last night (Sept 19), there was an absolutely loud, a noxious, racist yank insulting everybody and their mother but they were too intimidated to show him the door. Otherwise, good stay and would recommend.

The hotel itself was very good but first impressions from arriving at car park was not good.the car park and surrounds of the hotel had an enormous amount of weeds everywhere making it appear run down and they were not little weeds - had been there for a long time We were pleasantly surprised on entering the hotel as the facilities were pleasant and comfortable. It was a real shame about the surroundings as they really let the hotel down

Calls theirself an airport hotel and doesn’t even come with a shuttle. Had to pay 100CAD in taxis to get there and back to the hotel. Wouldn’t stay there again for another layover.

Pretty good and reception stuff are super friendly

A lot to like but some issues. Music/TV in the bar area was too loud to be able to converse and apart from the restaurant there is no other area. The bar manager offered me a spot in the conservatory but the noise levels were still high and the air con was set so low you couldn’t sit there in a shirt, needed wool sweater. My colleague arrived late and asked night porter for a book of matches. He was told they wouldn’t have anything like that and he flat out refused to help. He suggested driving to a fuel station (this was suggest to someone who’d just got out of an airport taxi so it was just silly. All in all, rather disappointing.

Great pre airport stay. Car park is small and so are the spaces so watch out if you arrive late

This was a last minute reservation for 3 nights. From the minute I stepped into the lobby I was pleased with the choice I had made. Sometimes its the little things that make the overall picture so great, like the bookshelve with books to sit, read and relax and the coffee machine with an excellent choice of great tasting coffee The hotel was extremely clean, the staff at the front desk went above and beyond to help me with my many needs. If you require room service, clean towels etc, you have to request this as it is not a daily thing. I will definitely be returning here, so convenient for Gatwick Airport.

The woman at the reception sesk was exceptional in her help and friendliness.

Told I had to pay an extra £20 , we did arrive early and they had the room ready but wanted the extra money because it’s their policy to now charge, never had this happen before and have been to sandman more than 40 times won’t go back, disappointed

I would like to start off by saying the staff was very friendly and I think they were fantastic at the front desk. The room however was mediocre at best with low quality beds and sheets that felt like sandpaper. The water never got hot in the shower and the air conditioner turned on (loudly) and off every 30 seconds so we ended up just turning it off and was just warm. It’s only 10 mins to the airport but still costs around £20 to get to and from the airport. For one night it was tolerable but I would not recommend this hotel if you can find an alternative.

My friend and I were staying for one night and shopped all day and just wanted to chill out in our room for the night and decided to have room service. The menu looked loved - when I rang to order I was told that a £6 charge would be charged to bring it up to the fourth floor in a lift!!! So I went down and got it myself - the food tho was terrible!!! I ordered a pizza and it was tastless, chicken was plain chicken when it should have been chargrilled I think, I had two slices of pepper when it said with peppers (surely not just two) and basil but no basil present, the dough was not very nice either and all for the bargin price of £17!!!!! My friend had the chicken burger which she said was very agerage We also had to pay for parking even though we were staying there - whats that all about?? Also were told if we wanted breakfast (£13.95 each) we could book it there and then but if we did it on the day it would be (16.95 each)????? Would not recommend to eat there and wont be returning

Amazing stay pool, spa and gym just make it extra. Super relaxing and nice quiet stay. Staff friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended with everything you need.
