Excellent location and very friendly staff. We spent two nights here to experience the Arctic region of Norway. While our conducted tour to the fjords was cancelled due to bad weather, it gave us the opportunity to enjoy the Paris of the north i.e., Tromso.
Due to its central location we were able to walk to the Polaris Museum, the Radhus (Town Hall), the City Library, the Cathedral, and eat at some nice restaurants including the one in the hotel itself.

Great hotel! Breakfast was excellent with tons of options! Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, though, didn’t start until 8, which seemed late. It was located in the middle of town so everything was walkable. It was easy to get from the airport on the airport bus the hotel. The stop was across the street and catching the bus back to the airport was right outside the hotel. There were maps at the front desk to navigate around the town.

Room was basic, shower only Luke warm, and needed updating, also not a very nice smell coming from the shower! Perfect location city centre and harbour, breakfast was good and staff friendly, wouldn’t stay again as can get cheaper rooms just around the corner.

Easy check in, room was very comfortable but disappointed that the view from the window was of nothing. Breakfast was outstanding, we will use this hotel again simply because the breakfast and the staff were amazing.
