Holiday Inn HELSINKI - VANTAA AIRPORT by IHG, an IHG Hotel

我分開兩次入住，是我印象中最差的大品牌酒店。 一開始的前枱藍髮職員，是我旅行以來見過態度最差的前枱職員，她的態度我已不想再多說，黑面囂張…跟本不想協助幫你，之後又黑面。 寄存行李房，跟本細到沒地方放個大行李箱，房間燈光嚴重不足，我還以為進了黑房，要自己自製一個枱燈，房間有個放雪櫃的櫃，第一次的房間是有雪櫃的，第二次回頭再住，竟然沒有，桑拿室分開男女兩邊，但又要分時間限制，長時間女士桑拿房門口多人排隊，跟本連進入機會也沒有。 我不會再選擇入住這間酒店了。附近的兩間好太多了，太大對比。

住宿環境一般，但勝在有機場巴士接駁

Excellent reception services! Kids breakfast can take out will be perfect for early flight family travelers.

Great breakfast, friendly staff, large shopping center within a short walk, complementary airport shuttle service. Only minus is the in room cooling system not working properly, not easy to sleep after a transatlantic flight when room temp is at ~+25 while the outside temp is ~23 (staff was not able to rectify).

Lovely place clean room, 👌 staff are friendly and ready to help for anything at all.

Arrivé tardive après minuit, il y avait quelqu'un à la réception de l'hôtel, personnel très accueillant, chambre nickel quand je suis arrivé , très calme tout autour, centre commercial accessible à pied très facilement et une navette est disponible pour l'aller retour, hôtel et aéroport et les chambres sont faites tout les jours si on le veut .

Siisti huone ja kätevä lentokentälle meno. Kuljetuksia menee 15min välein. Hotelli on suhteelisen vanha, mutta siisti ja hyvät sängyt!

I got trapped in the shower due to a malfunctioning shower door. A handyman had to pry the shower door open. He had to remove a strip of plastic that had, amazingly, sealed shut the shower door. When the handyman was removing the plastic seal, he made some comments to the effect that this was not the first time that he had needed to pry open a shower door at this hotel! I suspect that the plastic strip was NOT part of the design of the shower, but was added by the hotel to prevent any water from leaking out of the shower onto the bathroom floor. Even worse than being trapped in a small shower stall (which is a nightmare), was what happened next! The person at the front desk came up to our room and personally witnessed the handyman struggling to pry the door open. After that, she offered exactly nothing, no discount, no nothing, When I requested a discount, she immediately offered 50%. But she said that she could not provide it directly, since I had booked through Expedia, as opposed to booking directly with Holiday Inn. But she said that she would put a note in the computer requesting a 50% discount, and that Expedia would see the note. She further advised me to then call Expedia and request the discount from Expedia. But when I called Expedia, a couple of days later, Expedia said that Hoilday Inn had told them that there was no note in the computer, and that they opposed providing any discount at all, since they had a strict policy against ever issuing any refund!

Ystävällinen henkilökunta, erityisesti yöllä respassa ollut Svitlana! Sängyt ja tyynyt ihania! Aamiainen 10/10. Suosittelen!

The room was very small. Nothing like they showing on the website

Tilava huone, ja lämmin. Aamiainen oli runsas ja monipuolinen. Oli jopa lohta tarjolla. Kasvissyöjät hyvin huomioitu. Siasiemenvanukas oli maukasta. Lentokenttäkuljetus toimi hyvin ja aikataun mukaisesti.

Ystävällinen palvelu, ihana aamiainen, siisti huone, rauhallinen ympäristö ja sijainti lähellä lentokenttää ovat vahvoja plussia. Ilmainen lentokenttäkuljetus hotellille ja takaisin kentälle on hieno juttu!

I only stayed overnight on a long layover. It was fine.

Room was tiny, very outdated, something like 1980’s. Other Scandic Hotels nearby much better

The room was pretty small, but it is a nice hotel for what it is - a place to stay near the airport. Breakfast was not included in the price but could be purchased for 15 Euros, and it was well worth the price, with plenty of selections for every taste. There was a good selection of coffee and tea in the room, and the free airport shuttle which runs every 20-30 minutes was very good.

The staff’s smiles were absolutely wonderful. They kindly helped me set up the SIM.

Great hotel to stay at if you are flying in to Helsinki

Not far away from the airport. Free convenient shuttle every 20 minutes. Takes around 10 minutes.
