This is a great budget hotel. The room we stayed in was old and dated but clean. If you have mobility issues or trouble with stairs be sure to book a room on the ground floor (there are only 4). The front desk staff are amazing... very friendly and helpful. The breakfast (which can be bought separately) is good (not a lot of variety but quality food). Location is great... Right at the bus and train stations Perrache.

Very convenient to the Perrache train station which is what we wanted. Didn’t feel like the safest area, especially the bus station that you need to walk through to get to the train station.
Hotel was inexpensive, clean and the staff were great. Breakfast was good value for money.

The room was awful and had mold on the wall. The window in the room was not opening as it is on the street level and on top of that the AC was making so much noise. There was only a security guard overnight and they were unable to fix the AC and they didn't offer to change room because the hotel was full. The AC was as loud as a truck. he security guard brought a fan over to my room at midnight. The next day, they offer to refund half of the price but I never receive any money. Such a bad experience. They shouldn't allow people to stay in room like that where people can't sleep. You have to choose between not sleeping because of the heat or because of the noise.

Stayed for one night. Super friendly staff accompanied me to the hard to get to parking building next to the hotel. The next day they retrieved the car for me. Not a good hotel to stay it if you have a car. Our room was in the ground floor of a scary apartment building next to the hotel. A key FOB was needed to open 2 security doors before getting to the room. This "annex" location was not mentioned by Expedia.

I had a great experience at this hotel. I was given a room in the building just beside it and it was on the ground floor so I didn’t have to carry my suitcase up. The rooms were modern and cozy. The staff was also very friendly and spoke English and Spanish as well as French. The area around it has lots of bars and restaurants and is next to Perrache. The only downside is that some homeless people live there and one of them screamed at me out of the blue so beware of that.

Old hotel. Personal is friendly and has good attitude to clients. Some rooms do not have air conditioners and windows do not open.We asked for better room and we got it. We can not say about breakfast quality, we did not buy it.

this place is terrible! they can't even call a hotel! it is worst than student accommodation! there is no AC in the room neither fan was provided during hot summer. The wall is so thin, you can hear next door talking and when people walk pass your door, the wall is shaking! The worst nightmare I had was bed bugs and fleas!! I had terrible bites and my skin is so itchy! I talked to receptionist and he said he has no room for me to change. I wrote to management and they said they never have bed bugs and fleas!
hell yeah! my body started feeling itchy ever since I walked into the room and I showed picture to them. I don't believe this is the first time! Avoid this terrible place!

Convenient for Perrache and all of Lyon by Metro cheap comfortable not typical of the kind of budget places normally found near a station. Safe and not depressing.

Check-in was easy, rooms were clean, staff was friendly. Hotel is located directly next to Perrache train station and in walking distance to most of Lyon's major sites.
But if you are booking this hotel during the summer months you may have to reconsider. The room was stifling hot as it did not have air conditioning or even a fan. We had to sleep with both the window and door open and still it felt like a sauna in our room. Because of this, it was a very uncomfortable stay.
