We had just finished a river cruise and needed a hotel for 2 nights before flying home. We arrived around noon and were able to check in early. The location makes for easy walk to get around the old city of Lyon. So much to see and do in the area. Our double classic room (queen bed) was perfect for our needs. Hallways could use some updating. The 8th floor bar has spectular city/river night time views but is “tres” pricey.

Our room wasn’t ready at check-in time.
No one apologized for that.
We went up to their 8th floor bar for drinks. We waited almost half an hour, no on bother to take our order. So, we just left.

The a/c did not work properly, I had to open the window for cool air but couldn’t sleep well because of the noise outside. The toilet in the bathroom had almost no space to sit, the wall was 2 inches away from my knees
