Holiday Inn LUBECK, an IHG Hotel

Friendly staff, great location and large room

Restaurant and bar were closed on a Sunday evening. Not what you expect from a 4star hotel. Further more staff very unfriendly also not 4star alike.

I really enjoyed the indoor pool and sauna in the basement. And the great location near the many attractions.

Did not feel very comfortable due to lack of sufficient staff. Facility needs better maintenance. Poor and limited parking.

We loved our stay at Holiday Inn. Reception was kind and helpful and efficient. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast had a lot of different options, which was nice since we were there five days. Everything was delicious. We paid for parking. It was expensive, but we were here during the festival and we didn’t want to fight for parking-so we thought it was worth it. Walking distance to the island which was were we did a lot of exploring, so a great location. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Conveniently located just outside Lübeck's north city portal, Burgtor. It's just a few minutes walk into the altstadt with churches, squares, passageways, courtyards, and a variety of beautiful gabled buildings. Loved the breakfast at the hotel and the rainwater shower head. There are a limited number of free outdoor parking spaces which I luckily obtained. Lübeck is wonderful.

Coincidentally had stayed here before several years ago but didn’t realise till arrived, and room was great, location perfect, ate in the restaurant which has great and handy and luckily we had prebooked as it was busy. Would recommend and stay here again

Stayed here twice now and it has been spot on both times.

Would really reccomend, families with kids especially.

Isabelle at the front desk could not have been more welcoming. The room was perfect and the breakfast was exceptional. So easy to walk to the Old Town. Also an excellent family-owned Italian restaurant across the street.

Friendly staff, close to downtown

This hotel is conveniently located just outside the city walls. Our room was decently sized for a European city. It was nicely decorated and had functional AC. We chose the place in part for the pool, but it was even more chaotic than usual bc the desk was giving away beach balls. The floor was also subway tile--horribly slippery. Some of the windows created weird privacy issues too. Breakfast had quite a bit of variety, but good luck getting there or to the pool because of the elevator situation. There were only 2 tiny ones for the whole hotel, and the stairs were for emergencies only. COVID concerns further limit people's willingness to share a tight space with a stranger, so the lines for elevators were horrible. If you have issues with claustrophobia or similar, beware that you might feel trapped on your floor. Maybe this will clear up once they have their remodeling done, but it seems generally silly that the stairs aren't currently open for anyone willing to take them.

Very nice Hotel, staff is sweet and helpful. The cleaners came a bit too early for our liking (before 9 am.) but that's subjective I guess.

Nice hotel next to Altstadt. Very friendly service. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool. If you are into indian food, try Maj Mahal nearby.
