Pros: clean room, comfortable bed, fast check in, nice receptionist, near Berlin hbf, near bus halte, near tram halte, near you bahn halte, shower with different area so bathroom is still dry, beautiful scenery outside, easy to go to airport with bus, fast free WiFi. Cons: -

Great option for staying VERY close, i.e., across the street from the Station. Nice, clean, comfortable whole small and basic. Reasonable Burger Restaurant next door, but not much else around close and obviously its a bit chaotic out the front door as you make your way across the street and tram crossings to get to the Station. However its well within walking distance of the core Berlin center and its hard to get more convenient to the Station.

The hotel has a great location, close to Berlin Hauptbahnhof. This means easy access to transport and restaurants etc. Rooms are spacious enough and air conditioning works well. Self help bar is also very useful. Rooms are cleaned daily. Breakfast was fine. No complaints

The Ibis hotel was convenient to getting around the city.
A coffee maker, and fridge would have been nice in the room as we like to have coffee first thing in the morning and we buy items that we can have as snacks that require refrigeration.
Instead of a continental style breakfast, they had selections of hot food, fruit, cheese, meats, and even vegan selections for instance. A couple of coffee stations was good as well, so there was less of a line-up. Snacks and drinks were available for purchase outside of breakfast hours.
Do watch out for the bike lanes in the city, as they have right of way in these lanes.

The only issue would be the lack of air conditioning. It was fortunate that the weather was mild while we were there. Over all, I would stay there again. It was right across from the train station in Berlin. Very convenient

One mistake: Hop-On-Hop -Off is a waste of time and money. (Just advising, nothing to do with the hotel.

Stayed 2 nights in Ibis Berlin Hauptbahnhof. Couldn’t have asked for a better location. Only had to cross the street to get to and from main train station. Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag Building were a short hike only. Room was small but clean, new and eco-friendly. Would definitely stay here again on next trip to beautiful Berlin!

Rooms are small. It’s cute and ask for help with the air conditioner because we didn’t and regret it because we were doing it wrong lol
It does work! The room is noisy but the windows are good at the noise reduction.
The area is good for one night but not much to do around there besides sight seeing and close to train station.
