It was a great location. Very strategic

The hotel is right outside the Berlin Main Train station and it is very close to all random checks to this hotel-main transaction. The hotel has easy access to airports (it is so cheap from Tegel (TXL) airport). Overall the room was clean (even though the toilet bowl would need to be cleaned more). The hotel has kitchen sharing facility and the receptions were helpful. I will definitely stay again.

I was lucky. I have to travel to Berlin on these dates and didn't aware if there was Berlin Marathon on the same date. All hotels near train station was all fully booked and miraculously I got this corner room with 2 window view, including the TV tower. I can see the hotel is one of the historical building (saw the picture in DDR museum 😁) though it refurbished well. The breakfast area were pack with all the runners, but just enjoy the moment:) Will definitely comeback to Park Inn if I'm having the chance to visit Berlin again.

It was my first time arrival in Berlin, I expected some hospitality from locals especially in the place where I will be staying. I didn't expect that much in this hotel, due to its price which is quite low. When I arrived at the receptionist table, she isn't as polite and helpful as she suppose to be. After waiting for 20 minutes, she gave us a key card to a private room for 2 person with a private bedroom. Guess what? When I open the door there was a g*d**m guy sleeping in that room! What kind of receptionist that gave us a key to an occupied room? We go back to the receptionist table where she gave us a different key for another room. Instead of having the right room as we ordered, she gave us a room for 6 people yet luckily nobody else gets in that room. That night was raining and the windows was opened so there's some water in the room. Thank God we could sleep for some hours. Then in the morning all of a sudden, a cleaning service came in our room before we check out and speaking in German (which we didn't understand entirely) and telling us to check out at that time. We ignored her since didn't understand what she says and we are suppose to check out an hour later, she bangs the door and leave. To anyone who travels to Berlin, don't you ever stay in this hotel unless you are ran out of money and no other choice. Stay for one night only, and fine another place. Period.

The room is clean. But don't wash your clothes on their laundry.

How to Get There

Berlin’s unique culture greets you the moment you land in their main airports: Berlin Tegel (Northwest) and Berlin Schoenefeld (Southeast). Both are international airports, but Schoenefeld caters to charter flights and low-budget carriers. Most international travellers are likely to arrive in Berlin Tegel.

The most common mode of transport from Tegel International Airport to the city centre is the bus. Another option would be The Jet Express line which runs every 10 to 15 minutes and takes about 45 minutes to get to the heart of the city, Alexanderplatz. It also offers a lot of easy connections to its top sites and the rest of Germany.

If you prefer private transportation, taxis are available as well as car rentals.

Meanwhile, Schonefeld Airport is located 11 miles southwest of Berlin and features a connection to S- Bahn and other regional trains.
