The best location of you like a quite place. After Mykonos, APOLLEN in NAXOS Greek island was really quiet. Mr. STAMATIS ANDREAS - the host/owner is an amazingly hospitable person. Keep in mind though that you will not be able to reach the property if you do not rent a car or arrange for an expensive airport/port transfer. Driving is extremely difficult. A GREAT PLACE TO RELAX with beautiful 360 degrees view.

The welcome and hospitality was terrific. The owner Stamatis could not have been more friendly and helpful. We were greeted on arrival with a delicious welcome snack and then a free drink that evening. There is no way that the hotel is 2-star……it should be at least 3

This hotel is lovely. Stamatitis goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is wonderful. The housekeeping comes in daily, it was extra nice because most days they went in early while I was having breakfast so they wouldn’t inconvenience me throughout the day! The breakfast is delicious, they will make your crepes/omelettes to order in addition to fresh fruit and other buffet items! I will definitely go back!

Lovely family owned and run hotel.Very clean and comfortable and a great location. 2 minutes walk to port and beach, 10 minutes walk from Kouros, very close to footpath to Kamiaki (6 km walk but recommended). The owner has brilliant English and is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Great cooking, with care and attention, delicious. All veg is organic and grown in own garden. Meat and fish locally sourced. Apollonas is a great place to stay, harbour beach is sandy but there is also a pebble beach. Good surf on the pebble beach. Highly recommended hotel and visit

Great little hotel. Rooms have been recently updated and are quite nice. The service was excellent and the hosts are very nice and accomodating. The location across from the beach is great. Note that the hotel is in the town of Apollonos which is on the northeastern tip of Naxos. Most of the best beaches and activity is on the southern and wetern coast so it is quite a distance. A car is a must on Naxos, so if you are willing to drive Adonis is a quaint, quiet place to stay.

The rooms are spacious, low priced, come with fully stocked bathrooms, and each one comes with a seaside view.
The host and his family are personable and caring, and they will do all they can to help you have a wonderful vacation. They even brought us homemade candies lemons, home grown mind you, and drinks for when we checked in. Which was amazing after the long drive at 11pm. The owner speaks Greek, French, and English proficiently, so clarity won’t be a problem if you’re not a native to the area.
The hotel’s food is amazing. Many choices, all homemade, most from their garden, and far better than the tourist-trap restaurants you’ll find on the port of Naxos.
Just be warned, the Adonis is located in Apollon, which is about an hour’s drive from the island’s main city. It’s a charming little village with great scenery and a unique flavor of its own, but you’ll need to rent a car if you want to get to the rest of the Island’s beaches and historical sights.

Stamatis and his family made us feel so welcome at Adonis hotel. We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful, quiet town. The breakfast was wonderful, and we loved tasting food from the garden. The view from our room was gorgeous.

We had a wonderful stay made even better by Stamatis and his family. Great location steps away from a sandy beach and many tavernas with fresh local produce. The hotel is great and everything is local with a lot coming straight from the garden.

Hotel Adonis sets the benchmark for hospitality, friendliness and personalised service. Stamatiz, Stephanos and their team are friendly, helpful and warm. Apollonas is a beautiful part of Greece to visit. The beach is clean, has lovely shacks and good access to the ocean.

Fantastic little hotel with very friendly staff. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful during our stay and they really took pride in helping their guests. A few nice restaurants in the harbour and a great place to spend a few days relaxing away from busy towns.

I was so impressed by the level of attentive service the owner of the hotel gave to each and every guest. He went above and beyond and the staff was amazing as well. It really made me feel at home traveling alone. The breakfast was delicious, my room was clean and bright-location just steps away from two areas of beautiful beach access. This hotel is in the quiet village of Apollon which is at least an hour and a half away from the main port & town-get a shuttle to the hotel-the taxi fare is expensive!

Well, what can we say? We found this fantastic Hotel on Hotels.com and the reviews certainly were 100% true. Stamatis (the owner) and his staff truly make you feel at home, this Hotel makes you feel that the staff are one big happy family (of which some are). Nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent, home cooked and most produce comes from their own allotment. The staff are extremely efficient and our room was always cleaned while we ate breakfast. The breakfast is a wonderful array of foods including home made lemon marmalade, local cheese, fresh bread, eggs, cereals, yogurt (the best I have ever tasted) fruit, juices, tea and coffee. Evening meals were wonderfully cooked at a time suited to you as you order your meal in the morning for a set time in the evening.
Stamatis is a perfect host. A very warm, welcoming, caring, informative, happy and very knowledgeable about all thing Greek.
Would we stay here again? 100% yes!

We had an incredibly relaxing week at Adonis Hotel. Stamatis and co are the greatest hosts and will go out of their way to make sure you're taken care of. From beginning to end we felt so comfortable here, like we were part of the family. Dinner (menu changes nightly) is delicious and very reasonably priced, and the breakfast is outstanding- we loved the cakes and homemade marmalades! The homemade liqueurs are also so delicious. Really love that they grow their own organic produce, it's so fresh and tasty. The hotel is very clean and bright and airy. Room is a good size with comfy bed and plenty of storage space. We loved our balcony - so spacious and picturesque! We also appreciated the port pickup, as we did not have a car. The village, Apollonas, is a small charming place and the beach is lovely. We wish we could have stayed for weeks! We will definitely come back to Naxos and stay at Adonis Hotel again.
