Sofitel Athens Airport

Comfortable and clean. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Room was quiet. Shower was amazing.

Great location and convienent

The hotel is very nice comfortable, as a non smoker I believe there should be no smoking areas and non smoking rooms for guest who do not smoke. Having dinner whilst people are smoking is not pleasant.

Very comfortable rooms. Nice restaurants and bar. Across from the Athens airport. Going into town was easy but was also quite a distance away so you have to consider if you plan on night life this hotel may not be for you. We just wanted a few days of quiet before we flew out of Athens and we very much enjoyed it.

Lovely hotel very conveniently located right across from airport terminal . Staff very friendly , professional and accommodating ..Excellent buffet breakfast , huge variety of hot and cold ..Room clean , spacious , very comfortable bed , good quality toiletries ! Nothing to complain about !

Easy place to stay to wait for a flight.

Thoroughly enjoyed my overnight stay. Friendly staff. Facility is classy. Comfy bed and pillows. Rain shower. High quality soaps, lotion. Great food and drink. Plenty of space. Didn’t feel crowded. Lovely buffet breakfast. Literally a few steps from Athens airport. Can’t beat it. Highly recommend.

This is an incredible hotel for an overnight stopover between flights! The room was spacious, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was OVER THE TOP lovely with a soak tub within the walk-in shower. The best part of the room is that the walls are solid enough to prevent any airline sounds, and the blackout shade was perfect for a dark room. We enjoyed two of the hotel restaurants, but sadly, we were not permitted to enjoy the rooftop patio for dinner because of "wind." Yet, we saw people dining out there, so we wondered if the hostess was trying to avoid overseating the patio area. That was a shame, as the rooftop patio was one reason we were excited to visit the hotel. In general, we highly recommend this hotel! It saved us from having to venture out to the surrounding area to find a hotel, and it was a truly lovely visit.

Overall I would surely stay there again as a 1night stopover transfer.

We have stayed here several times the night before a flight home to the States. It’s easy to take the train or a cab into Athens if you have time. The nicest part is the staff, very very kind. Our plane home was delayed for six hours and they were able to arrange a late checkout for our three rooms. One more thing, no need for shuttles to various terminals, the hotel is right across the street from Aegean, United, and many other airlines. Good breakfast too.

Exceptional service

2 min walk from arrivals. We enjoyed the roof top restaurant. Conveniece is perfect!

The convenience of being right at the airport was our biggest priority, but the amazing staff and service was the "cherry on top".

You could watch the planes taking off and land however no sound. To get to our flights we crossed the street then went up the stairs and arrived at our gate. Quick and easy.

Extremely friendly staff, very good restaurant and bar, very convenient walk from the airport.
