SureStay Hotel by Best Western Guam Airport South

Stayed 3 nights. Enjoyed the comfy bed, close location to the airport and the nice rooftop pool. However, it wasnt clean, lots of renovation noise (and water interruption), breakfast was a meat sandwich in a plastic takeaway container, and the staff were friendly but not super helpful. Lowest price we could find on Guam, but not sure I'd stay again.

I was in Guam on business and this hotel was really close to the airport but kind of in the middle of the drive to other places. The property is in the middle of renovations by a new owner and it's clearly an old property. The staff was amazing and very helpful, but the hotel has the vibe of an old motel that's being fixed up. Once the renovations are done, it'll be a great place to stay because it's between a variety of places to go, so it's convenient from that perspective. The cost was reasonable considering it's not in the resort area and it's close to the airport, but it wasn't quite worth the money yet--it will be after the renovations and once the hotel is up to Best Western standards. I might stay there again in the future, but it'll depend on other hotels' prices.

Hotel had note in room cannot use tap water other than bathing. You must drink bottled water. The hotel “sold” water for double the price at store next to hotel. It’s an old place really just for a stop over. I wouldn’t recommend.

Booked 3 nights here. Left after the first nights because of big cockroaches and flies in the room and booked a different hotel. I even called someone at the front desk to come up and kill one of the cockraoches. He was very gracious, apologetic and did so. Upon check out the front desk said to contact Expedia to refund the amount for unused nights. I did that. Expedia contacted the property manager who has refused to refund the money for those nights. Not a good experience at all. Stand behind your hotel and if it is truly not up to standard, then do the honourable thing and compensate your customers. But that didn't happen. Don't bother to book here - your room WILL have bugs and you will not get any money back.

The restaurant wasn't available for service due to renovations being made.

Gooð value for thhe price. Lack of restaurant, was disappointing. Overall, VERY NICE.

So this hotel has only got one thing going for it and that is its location close to the airport . It’s convenient if you have. A car- but not if you don’t , as their shuttle is out of commission . Though breakfast was included in the room rate, the restaurant was out of commission , so they gave you a packed breakfast. This is fine unless you’re vegan, vegetarian , kosher or halal. Breakfast was a ham sandwich , juice box and a cereal bar. No other option was available . The TV in the room comes with a card that lists all the channels. Except most of those channels don’t exist . For example, they had CBS but not Fox. This was important because Fox had the Super Bowl this year. Rather than watch it in my room before a flight I had to go and find a sports bar. Not what you want when you’re in transit . How do claim to provide TV service but don’t have a major network? The phone in room did not work. This is a problem when you’re trying to call around to find a sports bar to watch the Super Bowl , because the TV in your room doesn’t carry the Super Bowl Wouldn’t stay again: the hotel is simply full of false advertising on its listing .

Building condition is ok, 4 star with a pool on the roof. Surrounding area is nice but kinda far from many establishments. Too close to airport and depending on the wind direction, it can get very noisy. Some staff were very indifferent to customers, no greetings, no smiles and sometimes not even there. Overall i give it a 3 star

no breakfast, just bag meal, baloney sandwich on day 1, other days better, did not clean room, no water one morning, toilets dont flush,

Under renovation. Slow and no hot water. Hopefully it is addressed during the renovations.

Hotel was under remodel. Chemical smell in the elevator and hallways. Room was comfy, but had no blanket on bed just a sheet.

This is the most terrible place I stayed at.

Property is under construction. Hard to see the sign from the road. Shuttle bus to airport doesn’t start until 0630. Shower barely dribbled and cold
