Nice job w breakfast starting at 3am ! And at a good price (for Iceland)
Outside balcony lights should be dimmer to help viewing of the northern lights.
It would have been good to allow for early checking- esp considering that overseas flights can arrive early in the day.

The hotel was excellent. Staff was super friendly. Rooms are in excellent conditions. Maybe a bit small but when you only need a good bed to sleep, it was perfect for us. Bathroom super neat. Maybe the only downside was the quantitu of parking spaces are small. At night we needed to park in fron of the hotel, but the area is quite safe so, was not a big deal. Overall, I will book this one again.

We were happily able to check in earlier than the usual 3pm time. The room was small but adequate and the two twin beds pushed together were very comfortable. We liked that each bed had its own separate blanket. Nice location, walkable to the city center. Overall a great experience for our one night stay. Thank you.

This hotel takes tour groups so the desk seems constantly overwhelmed taking in large groups of people. They have little time to respond to guests. Some of our group missed a Northern Lights tour as they did not update what was happening. Breakfasts are ok but very simple. Worse, no lunch or dinner at hotel and places to eat substantially far and snow and sleet common.

Great hotel for the price. We were looking for a hotel that wasn’t too expensive so chose hotel cabin. The rooms were small but cosy and comfortable. The location was great, around a 25 minute walk from the centre however bus stop 12 is nearby and all the local tours can pick up at this hotel which was really good. Perfect for what we needed. There is also a small food court across the road with cheap dinner choices and a supermarket only 5 minutes away.

This is definitely a 2 star hotel like advertised. There was barely any free space in my room and my "twin bed" was just 2 single beds pushed together with nice big crack in the middle so you could not spread out. I was grateful it was just me and not 2 people in my room.

Nice staff and overall good price point. My only observation is that our room was very small, we had no space to open our luggage. I’ve stayed at 3 hotels in Iceland, and the price is marginal to hotels with more space and closer to the center.

I’ve been to many places around the world and this was by far the smallest room I have ever stayed in. INCLUDING smaller than an interior cruise ship cabin. It was really hard to maneuver with all the winter clothes and suitcases.
Facility was clean, but the condition was poor. Scuffs everywhere, worn carpet. I would call this a private hostel at best. It did the job, but I would not do that again. Too claustrophobic with two people

I'm not sure if it's an Expedia problem of a Hotel Cabin problem...
My confirmation clearly indicated "breakfast included". When I checked in, the front desk woman said that their confirmation was different an did not include breakfast. after showing my confirmation, she reluctantly said " we'll feed you". For the remainder of the stay .. when I went to breakfast, they would tell me that I had to pay. so to the front desk I would go, the front desk would say the same thing. "our computer indicates "Room only" and the dance would continue.. very disappointed

Staff was great! Room was clean although tiny. No ice machine or coffee station is available which is inconvenient. Transportation to airport and large tour buses can access property which is great for pickup at front doors.

Reality is way off from website pictures. I felt back in Eastern Europe cast concrete buildings. Small room, not furnished, small bathroom with shoe size sink.

I would not recommend this hotel. The rooms were way too small for 2 people, even by European standards. If you are a single person, it would be fine. It was smaller than a dorm room with no bureau or surface to put your clothes. Our luggage and clothes had to stay under the bed. It is similar to a hostel, not an average comfortable hotel room. It would probalby be ok for a studen. The online photos of the lobby and rooms are very deceiving. The lobby has a variety of broken down couches which were not clean or comfortable. Pros: the sheets were very clean. There are many hotels in Reykjavik, so I would stay elsewhere next time.

The property did not look like the pictures online . We arrived to the hotel early around 12:45 they told us check in is at 3pm which is fine we waited in the lobby slept on the couch. There was also other ppl waiting the front
Desk let them check in and not us. We literally had to wait for 3pm the hotel staff was very rude and dismissive to us and we were the only black ppl there and they were extremely rude to us the entire time up until we left .
