Room was spacious. Staff were helpful. They even provide wake-up call for Aurora sighting. Although unfortunately it was cloudy that night. It was within walking diatance of groceries, resturants and ither stores.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable with very friendly staff. We had a lovely meal at the restaurant. Parking was convenient and free and the hotel is closed to grocery stores and petrol stations.

Stayed at a couple of this chain's properties and they offer good value, above average accommodation with newer rooms, good buffet breakfast and restaurant onsite. Dining options were very limited, but that's not atypical for Iceland.

I recently stayed at Höfn - Berjaya Iceland Hotels. While I stayed at several locations from the same hotel line during my trip, I found the breakfast at Höfn to be subpar for the cost compared to others, such as the Akureyri location, which offered a much better breakfast experience. That said, the staff was very friendly, and everything was clean and well maintained. The location was amazing, with phenomenal views that made the stay truly memorable. Overall, I would rate it 4 out of 5.

Very nice hotel and staff. Nice lobby and breakfast. Rooms are a bit small though and beware that the rooms on the east side of the hotel (facing town) can get super hot, especially when the sun is out. We were sweating even though it was cold outside.

I’ve now stayed twice in this hotel within the last 12 months! Staff will go a long way to make a difference! Beds are comfy, showers are great! Perfect location to all amnesties, bar is great, can’t fault it! Highly recommended !

Perfect place to stay after a long day of hiking in the rain! A hot shower and comfortable bed was the perfect end to our day. Love the lamps and lower lighting options in the room, too. It makes it extra cozy in there.

Egilstadir isn’t the nicest place in Iceland, but t it’s a convenient place to stop. The hotel was comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding. We also had dinner here and it was very good. I would stay here again.
