We booked a room for three adults with two twin beds. But the beds were two single beds instead. How could three adults sleep on two single beds? When we approached the front desk, we were told that the hotel does not have twin beds at all. We were given a spring bed instead, which was very uncomfortable.

Always used to stay here when in Amritsar but the hotel has lost its charm. Service level have dropped, room conditions are not upto standard and worse has to be reception which should be the best but hiring people with more focused on counting money and chit chatting than customer device. Truly sad to see the drop in service and just overall Taj experience you expect from Taj properties Other hotels have surely gained

Worst hotel I ever had. Television is not working,hot water kettle is not working,Washroom door doesn’t locked if I tried to close it wasn’t,Fridge is not working.I complained to manager but no action was taken.Thought out the day they didn’t change it.When we came back at 10:00 pm at that time some things are working.

Very well located hotel, but housekeeping / linen is in a very poor state. Towels are old and look mouldy and housekeeping doesn't even know they have to put hand towels in the bathroom. YYou have to ring housekeepong for even a glass!! Very poorly equipped rooms.
Food definitely can be made better. It is better to step out of the hotel for a meal.
Staff is courteous but they also cant do anything if you give a suggestion. Used to be a good hotel but has really fallen in standard! The saving grace is the location!

We have stayed at the Holiday Inn a couple of years back , but this time we found the hotel looking shabby. Linen is old and run down, laundry is not fresh. Only one restaurant is open so you are limited in the hotel itself .
Staff is very helpful but the condition of the hotel has really gone down . Major upgrade needed in the rooms and linens

Flooring squeaky and coming off. Mattress was too old and beat. King size bed is almost the size of international queen size. Lack of coordination and system updating leading to inconvenience and confusion while checking out.
No bill was given when payment was made.
Staff was courteous though, I might say.
Condensation on window was too much causing bad smell in room.
The experience was just not what was expected from holiday inn.

Property requires serious upgrades, bedding had stains and not clean. Bathroom had blinds in shower to block view from room and had mold on blinds. Bath towels need to be replaced as looks all worn out. Sofa in room is worn out. Holiday Inn I booked as I always had great experience in US but this property disappointed. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. I will not chose this as cleanliness is topmost priority.

Internet connection was constantly breaking up so that I could not do my work.
Fridge in the room was not working it was replaced the second day.
Sink was clogging and took two days to repair.
Number of towels provided was insufficient, had to call to have additional.
For the amount of money we payed in comparison to others in the hotel, our entire experience (including the view) was sub optimal.
