Had a very pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly and wanting to go above and beyond all the time. The hotel is convinently located on the main road and in prime location. The breakfast spread was very good. The one restaurant i tried had ok menu and food.
If i were to nitpick the staff behaviors seemed very orchestrated and super nice to a point of feeling uncomfortable and think need to tone down the niceness a bit.

I love staying at the Trident. The staff is fabulous, charming and kind. I overheated my hairdryer and had to ask for another one (totally my fault). The staff delivered right away and then put a huge vase of orchids in my room the next day to say sorry! Goodness. Beautiful place. I stay here every time.

Trident is always flat-out amazing in terms of service. The Oberoi group is really unmatched in India for this. The team in Hyderabad, from the laundry dept to food to check in, everyone was over-the-top amazing. Flawless.
I am, however, extremely disappointed in the eco-friendliness department: had to request multiple times for glass bottles of filtered water (default was tons of plastic), Kama Ayurveda is lovely but lot of plastic--can you switch to wall-mounted refillable? Even getting filtered water at breakfast was a big ordeal. Expect much much better from Oberoi group!
