Quick check in, greeted with a smile and excellent initial service. The condition of the room is decent (for an old category hotel) except that the floor of the room is dusty, so the soles of your feet are dirty, especially when you get into bed. The water is running smoothly, hot water for bathing is abundant, it's just that the sink is clogged and the shower for bathing feels like it's time to replace it (shame, for a hotel class). The hotel view is great, on the 2nd floor right above the lobby entrance (which is really nice). The AC is old, so for rooms that are quite spacious it takes a long time to wait for it to cool down. There are two small sofas and a table in the room, the TV has been upgraded and various TV channels are available. Wifi was said to be available, but didn't use it because the password wasn't given straight away (but that's okay, because the cellphone network is good and packages are still available). Car parking is quite limited, but thank God you can park. What's a bit disappointing, there is an extra charge if you bring children to breakfast (even though the menu is only fried rice & fried noodles), so it's less comfortable at breakfast (it seems like it's being monitored). Our advice is, for children under 12 years it's better to just go free (as part of the service to customers). Our children are in grades 1 & 2 of elementary school, traveling to Padang because it is the children's holiday period. Key point: Why are we staying at this hotel? Because there was a special request from my wife, I wanted to stay at a hotel near the supermarket. Thank God, this hotel is right in the market, and is indeed the closest to the market. My wife planned to shop at the supermarket in the morning, and we saw that the average number of guests at this hotel carry a lot of luggage (shopping at the market). Hassle-free: no deposit required for check-in. To check out, just give the key.
