Homm Laguna Bintan

I had a lovely mother-daughter weekend. At first, the hotel was so quiet we thought it was nearly empty until we went to breakfast. The spa was great, the beachfront was very clean, and most of all the staff were so hospitable. They were so caring and made you feel very welcome. They helped with ferry transport, booking dinner reservations, buggy rides to dinner. Thank you so much for a memorable weekend with my mom!

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The rooms are a little dated but clean and serviceable. Shower over bath is ok if you are not too tall! Food was good but difficult to navigate as a vegan, labelling could definitely have been better. Great hotel for a few days of total relaxation and rest.

rooms were clean , staff was friendly and accommodating. the spa was fantastic, as well as the breakfast buffet- the biggest draw for the hotel and the reason i will be coming back is benny.

Excellent service and beautiful beach / swimming pool. Having kids club and access to other group hotels (Banyan tree and Cassia) are definitely big bonus😊

Excellent stay with Angsana Bintan, they are polite, professional and warm. All the dept have the synergy to updates guest what happening at the hotel.Thanks millions to all the team to made my husband birthday memorable ones. From hotel Manager, Mr Omas and his Team at Front office who helped us with a few arrangement for our needs in hotel and the Bintan day Tour. Mr. Gin from Angsana Spa with his warm and friendly personality assist us with spa booking. Restaurant asst. Manager( sorry i forgot the name) who always have smile and shared passionately about Banyan CSR with the nature and Nadyn the friendly and cheerful service crew. Mr. Edy from Housekeeping with his polite and always make sure the rooms are clean . Lastly Banyantree spa receptionist, May and our therapist Rose, Thalia and Rina thank you for wonderful treatment with your excellent skills. Till we meet again😃

Great stay and highly recommend it for the price and value. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great dinner options at sister locations. The only thing I wished for was better seating options on the beach. There were a few lounge chairs, but they weren’t in good condition and didn’t have cushions.

Excellent stay overall, gorgeous beach. very kind staff, very good service. Good food but priced for Singaporeans, much more expensive than 5 star resorts in Lombok. Activities on the beach could be better organized, as the jet skis broke down 2 days in a row. Very interesting lecture on turtles with the release of the hatchlings into the ocean waters. Overall great.

Angsana is a charming property situated between 2 other resorts, part of the Banyan Tree parent company. Amazingly private beach, unique rooms with very easy access to pools and beach. Incredibly good food, lovely staff.

Truth be told, the property is quite dated. However, they make up with excellent, friendly and authentic service. Staffs (Hotna, Wiwik, Gin etc) are very warm and welcoming and you could tell that they are very genuine. My family was initially not quite happy with the condition of the rooms but the Management was quick to change for us on the next day. Very proactive and attentive. Otherwise, do not expect too much as this is a very resort style decoration. Cassia, which is next door and was opened in 2017, seems more trendy. In terms of dining options, this is quite okay as visitors can always go the neighbouring Banyan Tree Resort or Cassia in addition to the two restaurants/cafe located within the property. The private beach is very well maintained. Scenery is superb, so this is a perfect venue for a short getaway with laid back atmosphere. We tried the Angsana Spa and were very happy and impressed. Everything was so on point and the skills of the spa therapists (Tati and Rose) are one of the best I have come across. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay for my family. Hope to visit this resort again soon.

Amazing getaway

Visiting the hotel by ferry from Singapore could not fault the arrangements made and the great location of the hotel and friendly staff who looked after us so well.

Horrible place , horrible food and expensive. Staff is very friendly and they do the best they can. However, the property is very bad and outdated. The facilities are horrible , the food very bad. However, it is very expensive. The food and the drinks are as expensive as a 5 start resort .

Great service by the team at the Hotel. The beach is great with not that many people and the resort staff tries to keep the beach really really clean.

Great property. We were upgraded to a suite with ocean views. Very spacious room. Comfortable bed. Good size bathroom with all amenities. Welcome gift. Plenty of bottles of water. Good size pool, very refreshing. Excellent service by staff. Excellent food in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Nice beach to walk on but water was dirty as Monsoon season. Spa services fantastic. Wonderful stay. Highly recommend.

The transport services are good although there should be more shopping facilities around the resort. There should be more publicity on food outlets outside the resort as in rlsewhere
