Overall, it was good. The only thing was, one night, at 12:30, my child couldn't sleep. He opened the balcony door, and for a brief moment, I saw an apparition in the next building. It was in a corner room. I quickly closed the door and sent my child to bed, while I turned on a murotal (religious text) and recited prayers. But I remained positive, thinking it might be someone. The children still loved staying at Lombok Garden.

Staff was friendly. The room was dirty, and the bathroom needs a clean (the white floor tiles are brown with dirt), and there are little insects all over. Cannot leave anything on the desk, bed, or cupboard for a few minutes, then these very small insects are all over it. The noise from other guests late at night was annoying, and some of the tin roof metal sheetings were coming off in the wind and flapping.

The room was very dirty and had small insects running all over everything. Cannot leave any snacks etc on the table and be infested in minutes. The bathroom floor is very dirty—it needs a good scrub—and the bedding has blood stains. The towel rail is about to fall on the floor. Some of the roof metal sheeting was loose and made a lot of noise flapping in the wind at night. The elevator was shocking and, in particular, the carpet in it; we had to hold our breath while in the elevator.

There were cockroaches in the bathroom when I arrived, and the staff was quick to clean it. The pool was dirty, and it's a shame it wasn't kept clean, especially considering the nice location. The AC wasn't cold enough in room A2, and checking in required me to go to the guest house, even though I checked in in the middle of the night. So I had to walk back to check in.

When I first arrived, there were two ladies at the reception, but neither smiled at all, nor did they greet me or ask any questions. Check-in was quick; I arrived at 1 a.m. and was able to check in straight away. The room was comfortable, but the hot water didn't work at first, but it worked the next day. Breakfast wasn't like it was in 2024, with a wide selection of pastries, pizza, and plecing (a type of snack). Now, much of that has been reduced.

The receptionist (a certain individual) was unfriendly and uninformative upon arrival, but the other staff, especially those in the restaurant, were very friendly and helpful. Overall, the room was quite clean, but there were a few details that seemed neglected and weren't thoroughly cleaned (e.g., behind the TV, the kettle, and the cups). The breakfast menu wasn't very varied, but the taste was quite good. For a 3-star hotel, it could actually be better. Hopefully, it will improve in the future.
