Staying at their villa, great surroundings blending with nature where you could see horse, cows, and buffalo in the garden. But cleanliness could be improved in the room and in the restaurant.

We spent two nights here waiting for the ferry. The hotel restaurant was excellent in choice and price. The fish was exceptional. Breakfast was also good. Lots of off-street parking that had security through the night. Our room was a little noisy as it was next to the reception area but not too much problem. The hotel grounds are lovely, it doesn't feel like you are in the center of town.

We arrived very early, at 10 AM, and were allowed to check in at once. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean. The hotel restaurant was excellent, great choices and not expensive. The fish is very good. Our room was near reception and was a little noisy but not too bad. Overall good value.

Friendly staff, nice hot shower too. In my room on the ground floor, the socket was far away from the bed. The stay was pleasant!

Layanan antar jemput menunggu 1 jam, layanan resto telpon tidak jadi, muter-muter ke resepsionis dan lama pelayanan untuk nasi goreng biasa (1 jam lebih). Kalau minta dibersihkan harus minta resepsionis, gantungan penanda make up room tidak berfungsi. Lorong kamar kotor. Ketika minta kamar dibersihkan, butuh waktu 45 menit petugas datang. Harus ditunggu karena tidak ada kunci serep. Petugas yang datang 3 orang waktu dicek 1 orang nyapu, 1 duduk angkat kaki ke meja, 1 lagi main hp sampai saya keluar ruangan. Manajemen perlu banyak training staf soal hospitality

We were upgraded to a bigger room with a mezzanine. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant very good. The swimming pool is amazing. Problem with water for the toilets in the bathroom and no more toilet paper in the hotel!

Pertama kali nyampe di Bandara Waikabubak, langsung cari hotel terdekat, dapatlah Hotel Sinar Tambolaka dengan harga terjangkau dengan fasilitas free antar jemput bandara, ok i'm in! Tapi tunggu, setelah saya check in, saya sedikit khawatir akan di kasih nomor kamar yang mana, karena jujur saat itu suasana hotel sangat ramai, kamar full book, dengan denah kamar yang menurut saya rawan bising. But thanks God, saya ditempatkan di kamar sedikit ke ujung, tidak bising, dengan view jendela menghadap ke alam luar khas daerah Sumba, cukup nyaman dan bisa tidur nyenyak! Pelayanannya oke, free breakfast, harga menu di restorannya tergolong murah (satu catatan nasinya terlalu keras), colokan di kamar 87 cuma ada satu jadi tolong ditambahkan lagi karena colokan listrik itu sangat penting dan anti sharing. But so far is good, so happy to be here. 😍. One more thing dan ini penting, area taman dan lobi lebih ditingkatkan lagi, lebih di Sumba kan lagi, biar hasil foto para tamu lebih aesthetic dan instagramable, dan view jendela deretan kamar 87 dibebaskan dari hal-hal yang akan merusak ke aesthetic-an Sumba di media sosial, karena saya lihat masih ada sampah (bundelan kresek biru yang entah dilempar dari mana) dan tiba-tiba ada jemuran entah milik siapa. 😌.

Kamar kurang bersih, menginap selama 3 hari tidak pernah dibersihkan meskipun sudah menggantung tanda di pintu. Makan pagi cukup. Lokasi bagus, pemandangan bagus.
