We had a very pleasant experience during our stay at Gaia Hotel. Loved the hotel ambiance, the gardens are especially beautiful, loved the Koi pond and the greenhouse, too. Really enjoyed the breakfast and afternoon tea at the Club Lounge, the food and beverages are excellent. Especially my husband loved the steak and beverages. Our big appreciation goes to Fajar Hakim, Daniel, Chandra, Asep, Ruben, Rizki and Marisa from the Club Lounge for their attentiveness, warmth and genuinely caring towards us. You are all the best!

My top tip: block out 2 hours from one of the mornings just to explore the hotel, it has an amazing garden and a cafe with a view that helps set the relaxing vibe for the day to come.

The best staycation! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by all the staff. The welcome drink was refreshing and made us feel instantly at ease. Special thanks to Risya at the reception, who was super friendly and helpful. We entered the room, feeling cool and comfortable. Best of all, all the amenities were available without restrictions, making our stay even more enjoyable. The view was breathtaking, especially in the morning when we woke up to the sound of birds and the soothing flow of water, plus the fresh air. Checkout was also quick and easy, with Asep very helpful and escorting us to the lobby. The food and drinks were also delicious; absolutely nothing was a disappointment. We will definitely be back again and again. Thank you, The Gaia Hotel Bandung, for such a wonderful stay!

Overall, our stay was pleasant and enjoyable. We also tried dinner at Monomono Restaurant, and the staff were very helpful. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The breakfast experience needs better food variety and quantity. The amount of food available did not seem proportional to the number of hotel guests. When I had breakfast at around 9:00 AM, most of the dishes were nearly finished and were not replenished. The variety of food also did not meet the expectations of a five-star hotel. In addition, the staff at the afternoon tea area could be more welcoming and flexible, especially when assisting families with children.

The stay was amazing. The room was clean and spacious, especially with lots of amenities. Thank you to the lady who checked us in, who moved us from the 3rd floor to the 5th floor, which has a better view. The pool was beautiful with a stunning view. The buffet was great, but the taste was so-so. The broth of lontong sayur was too light (watery), and the dim sum was undercooked. Yet, the staff in the restaurant were attentive to clean the dirty plates from our table.

My first, and likely my last, stay at Gaia Bandung fell far short of expectations. Initially, a light in my room wouldn't turn on. I called the help desk four times for help fixing the lights, but the answers weren't clear (to Aura). I complained about a torn blanket and a broken light, but was told, "Okay, sir, your suitcase will be brought to your room soon." Housekeeping came to change the sheets, and a technician came twice just as we were about to retire. The second night, I had an extra bed in my room, which I clearly hadn't requested, and the hotel should have confirmed with the guest beforehand whether or not an extra bed would be added to the room. Furthermore, I had confirmed several times in my Deluxe Twin Mountain View room that an extra bed wouldn't be added, both via WhatsApp and during check-in. Gaia Hotel Bandung is quite annoying, and I think one visit is enough. For all of this, we were compensated with afternoon tea and a late check-out until 6 PM (which we also requested). I wanted to celebrate my birthday here, but I was completely in no mood. Better skip this hotel when in Bandung.

We had a wonderful family staycation and truly enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the hotel. One of the highlights for us was the beautiful green area surrounding the property. We loved taking morning walks around the hotel, where the environment felt clean, calm, and refreshing. The fresh air, beautiful sunrise, and spectacular view made the experience feel even more special. The hotel itself has a lovely aesthetic touch, with many thoughtful artistic details throughout the property. The facilities were also very family-friendly. The pool was great, and our family really enjoyed spending time there. We were also very impressed by the staff. Their service was excellent, and they were very helpful in accommodating our special requests. We also enjoyed the hotel’s coffee shop. The sandwich menu was great, and the coffee was excellent too. It was a lovely place to relax and added another enjoyable touch to our stay. Spectacular view! There were a few things that could be improved. At times, we could still hear some traffic noise, probably because the hotel is located near a busy intercity route that becomes especially popular during the holiday season. However, this happened only occasionally, and overall the hotel still felt calm and peaceful. The breakfast could also be improved. We noticed that there did not seem to be any beef options, although we were not sure whether this was part of the hotel’s policy. Another small input is the room fragrance. While the hotel has many beautiful artistic touches and feels new in many ways, the scent used in the rooms made it feel more like an older hotel. A fresher, lighter, and more modern fragrance would make the experience feel even more aligned with the hotel’s beautiful design. A special mention goes to Monomono Restaurant, which was truly excellent. It offers a fine dining experience that feels worth the money, with special flavors and thoughtful touches. We highly recommend it. Overall, a great staycation!

After a three-day stay over a long weekend, the breakfast was incredibly unimpressive. Much of the food ran out and wasn't refilled until breakfast was closing time. This was beyond expectations, as the hotel failed to handle this carefully. In my experience at any 5-star hotel, the food was always fully refilled, even close to closing time, without ever running out. Hopefully, this will serve as a valuable lesson for future evaluation.
