Watugana Bungalow

Don't book here, unless they drop the price to 10k irs. Seriously, book some other place. I'll give you 3 reasons why. 1. Worn out and dirty room + facilities. We saw 4 of the 6 rooms, as our friends were staying here as well. All rooms suffered from the same problems. They are only cleaned superficially, but they are begging for a thorough scrub. Mosquito nets are black from dirt and full of holes. The walls are covered in brown, gray and black stains and the paint is dropping down. Bathrooms and sinks look disgusting. You can feel each and every spring in the beds, one bed sleeps like a half pipe. Our toilet didn't have a toilet seat and had no lid on the water container. No handle for the shower head, which barely worked anyway. Tiles in the bathroom were falling from the wall and there was a stack of about 20 tiles just laying there in the shower. I could go on, but you get the point. 2. Bad service. Owner was not at the guesthouse when guests arrived, which caused guests to end up in the wrong rooms. They needed to move to other rooms later after a long day of hiking. He was drunk one day and made us some promises. The next day he told us it couldn't happen and he only told us it could because he was drunk. 3. High price Moni is expensive. It's remote and all places ask for a lot. So does this place but I've never had a place this bad for this amount. We saw many other places in Moni with better value for your money. We've stayed in basic rooms. This is not basic though - it's terrible.

Strategic roadside location. I like the service which is very friendly. very memorable. Perfect location for those who want to go to Flores, thank you Watugana bungalow.

A Simple homestay to spend over before heading to Kelimutu.

Great location, great breakfast and the owner was so helpful! He gave us real prices on taxis when other people in the village tried to rip us off!

Simple hostel without breakfast.

Not a great experience. Lot of noise in the morning. A bit dirty But good value for money since everything is expensive in Moni. Breakfast ok

Watugana bungalow has nothing to do with a hotel - it was so dirty, no soap, toilet paper, towel or help. The owner seemed to be stoned all the time, there was a lot of noise and yelling both nights of our stay. Definitely can not recommend this place unless you are extremely tired.

The location is very good. When we arrived there was no welcome and by departure we couldn't find the host. Comparing with other accommodation for this money the accommodation itself and the sanitary were very poor. Anne and Marlies NL.

The owner, Pak john waited for us to travel in the hot spots 1 hour more, very much appreciated.
