The service was excellent and the food (fish) was very good! I will recommend the Maldron to friends and look forward to returning again. Ireland in general is a very lovely place with plenty of jovial and kind-hearted people.

What i liked was the availability of the shuttle bus to and from the Terminals...excellent service. walking is just too far when you get off the Aircoach.

Very disappointing. Hotel looks tired , grounds scruffy , inflexible staff , services closed and poor choice of complimentary hot drinks in room. Nothing like my last stay 3 years ago

It’s not the first time staying in the hotel. The room and the reception area was very cold. The last time when we stayed the room was the same . We requested someone to check the heater in the room which they did. The heater was warm for a little while and then went back to being cold in the room. Very disappointed that keeps happening.

The hotel offers a great locale to reach the terminals, either via a regular shuttle or walkable if you are traveling light with baggage. There’s always some confusion in service in the bar/eating area, and often requires asking for something ordered previously. But that’s surmountable, given the convenient location. Front desk staff are great.

I traveled down from Belfast and stayed the night here before my flight out the next day. The checkin was easy, room was clean, and it was an easy walk to terminal 2. The restaurant was delicious for dinner and I enjoyed a cocktail after. My stay included breakfast the next morning which was a hot bar and cold bar…the eggs and sausages were yummy!

The room is more like a hostel: the furniture is sparse, cheap and nasty; the desk had strips of laminate missing; the desk chair had holes; the armchair had stains; the bedside table surface was completely blistered with what seemed to be a chemical spill; the bathroom was so small that only one person could be in it at a time, and had no shelf space; the bed was soft, but the sheets and towels were clean; and the coffee cup had bits sticking to the inside.
The restaurant was very cold; the food was acceptable but expensive.
The staff were helpful and polite.

My overnight stay in this airport hotel was fine shuttle bus was available to drop me at the terminal. Nice hotel no issues staff were friendly and helpful.
