Very comfortable room. Lovely bathroom but no mixer tap on the sink which was awkward when the hot tap was so hot and the cold tap was a bit stiff and difficult to turn off. Lovely food in the bar restaurant. Delicious breakfast. Great location.Overall very happy with the hotel and I would definitely stay there again.

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Our room provided a beautiful view of Howth. Able to access the beach for a seaside walk. The room was lovely and clean and the beds were amazingly comfortable.

Staff and service were great, but parts of hotel and particularly furniture in bedroom was very old fashioned.
Italian restaurant only opens 2 evenings and schooners bar restaurant has very early closing times.
Wi fi is intermittent n bedroom.

Hotel is in a beautiful setting with a beach right behind it, however its very dated, there was a big gap at the end of our door where you could actually see the hall outside.
Staff were lovely, but just very dated hotel unfortunately.

I liked the hotel. It could be a 4* if all the rooms were renovated. There is a restaurant and a bar and the common areas are very elegant. In the bottom side, there is a beach. The hotel has a covered pool too.

Nice hotel just in front of the sea. The weekends the restaurant is open and there is a bar available during all the week. The normal rooms are fine and the superior ones are luxurious.

Beautiful old hotel well-maintained in a classic style, with very active and attentive staff in all areas. Next to the bay with a shoreline or small beach, and with wonderful views that vary with the tide and foggy mornings. Outstanding food here, in my opinion.

A little gem that transports you to a previous age! We had teething troubles with the room card keys but the staff were quick to sort it for us. The room was fabulous and we loved the water view. It was cleaned to a high spec. The tv facilities were limited to just a couple of random channels but it was a good excuse to switch off and relax.
We didn’t use the eating facilities as we are vegan and weren’t sure what was available but the bar was fabulous and full of atmosphere.
The convenience to walk to the DART and get to the city centre within half an hour or so was golden.
We are keen to return in the future. Thank you.

Nice room and bed . Great pillows . I didn’t like that you could not get a decent cup of coffee and a light breakfast in the morning. You have to do the big breakfast buffet to get coffee . As a senior I just can’t do a huge breakfast buffet but I do need a couple of c of good brew in the morning .
