Great hotel for an early flight in the morning!

Old- needs renovation

The hotel is old, it really needs a refurbishment. Convenient for the airport as it’s 5 minutes taxi ride away..

Very close to the airport.

Loved the fact that the room is quiet considering the close proximity to the airport and also staff very polite and helpful. On the other hand there is lots of mould around the windows which makes the room smelly and unhealthy! Furniture and fittings could benefit from an upgrade.

This Hotel is perfect for early airport departures due to its closeness to the airport. I have stayed here several times and would continue to use this hotel for this purpose only. The Hotel itself is quite outdated and would benefit in a refurbishment. The rooms are quite drab and the fitments (bathroom) are past their best. However the bed is comfortable and despite the closeness to the airport it is very quite. Cleanliness this time was not the best with a thick layer of dust seen on items in the bathroom. The restaurant was quite busy but I was quickly shown a table but it seemed to take an excessive amount of time to get the waiting service to take my order concentrating on other tasks when I was quite clearly waiting, this was annoying. I will visit this hotel again no doubt due to the nature of my job being based in Italy 0 of my working life. Would I choose to bring my family here....No probably not.

It’s not fancy but it’s perfectly serviceable and close to the airport. We only used the restaurant for the breakfast buffet so can’t comment on the other food. Staff was quite friendly and transportation to airport was quick and easy.

The hotel was good and modern. The free shuttle was good for an early morning flight, but it didn't run in the evening, so we had to get taxi back from the airport (15 Euros). The hotel is close to the airport but not walkable.

Everything was great about this hotel as far as a hotel that you need very close to the Bologna airport. My son and I had a 6:50am flight and the first free shuttle leaves at 4:45am which was just in time to get us to the airport within the 2 hours. Only negatives was the poor WiFi in my room (429) which made me go to do some work in the main lobby. My tub/shower had a really bad clog so I was in shin height water by the end of my shower. Overall two minor things considering the place was clean, not too expensive, staff spike English and less than 5 mins from the airport with the complimentary airport shuttle. I would use them again when in Bologna again.

Dirty, smelly room

Nice hotel located 5 minutes from the airport. Even though the hotel could use a make over, the rooms are spacious and clean. Room service is available and the restaurant has a decent food selection and the quality is quite good. All in all, a perfect hotel if you are looking for something convenient and close to the airport.

Very convenient and close to Bologna airport, with frequent shuttle service to airport.

Hotel appears very new and the rooms are really nice. However, we were very disappointed with two things. One is the accessibility from airport. From the map it seems that it is within 5 minutes of walk from the terminal. But no, it would take 33 minutes to walk. The problem is the wall around the airport. The website did advertise free shuttle. But when we called, to they said that there is no shuttle in the afternoon. The taxi cost us $15. Not happy about that given that this is advertised as airport hotel. Also, the hotel has no coffee maker in the room and they want extra $10 for it? The hotel doesn't have coffee station or coffee machine anywhere in the hotel. In fact, no vending machine of any kind in the hotel. We will not use this hotel again and will be sure to check on such things since hotels are always trying to find ways to reduce service while still maintaining al the glitzy advertisements. Also, there is almost nothing around the hotel area -- no restaurants, stores or transportation

FlyOn is perfect for a short trip to Bologna. I only had one day here with an early flight out. The airport shuttle is very convenient and the hotel is spacious and beautiful. Only downside of being near the airport is that a 20 minute taxi ride is required to get into Bologna proper. Overall I enjoyed my stay here!

On their website it’s published the time table for the shuttle service but not on the Expedia service/property information and the time the service is available is quite weird. In my case, I had to take a taxi to get to and from the hotel. And there is no other way to get to the airport, very strange considering that that’s the only reason you would book a room there. The bathroom bath was not in good condition with mold and not only. Overall the room was fine and clean. The staff very professional and gentle (even if I had to call 3 times before someone answers to my call). The restaurant decent but opens at 19:30, again not a major problem but for someone like us who wanted to go to sleep early for a very early morning flight it would have been appreciated an early opening. Ti recap: not a bad solution for if you look at an airport hotel but read carefully all the details, not just in Expedia. I forgot to mention: the 4 and something Tassa di soggiorno is not included in the cost and needs to be paid at check-it. Again not a big issue but it would be correct to clearly stated somewhere.
