Hilton Garden Inn Rome Airport

The bed was very uncomfortable. The rest of the room was clean and nice.

We were in Rome to catch our flight back home the next day. The hotel was extremely convenient to the airport, shuttle buses ran regularly every 10-15 minutes, rooms were clean and comfortable, and restaurant was good for dinner and breakfast the next morning was very good with lots of choices. I would certainly recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

My family and I stayed one night at this hotel and were pleasantly surprised by the helpfulness of the front desk staff and the quality of the hotel restaurant. Our rooms were spacious and clean. We were so grateful for the shuttle service between the hotel and Fiumicino airport also.

If looking for just a place to sleep and get on shuttle to airport then this is great. But nothing else is with any walking distance of this hotel. Limited dining options and amenities. But a safe clean comfortable place to sleep.

We selected this location because it offered a free shuttle from the airport and back. It really delivered! A nice large bus and a very friendly driver ran the route around the clock, about every 15 minutes! Another great asset is the restaurant in the lobby. It served very nice dinners, especially nice as the airport/ hotel are located somewhat distant from Rome. The front desk was friendly and made every effort to speak with me in my language. Unfortunately, the condition of this location was not up to the standards that we have experienced at Hilton Garden Inns elsewhere. The room was a spare, uncomfortable space. The furniture was worn: the cabinet door was pushed too far into the cabinet to use it, end caps missing on plumbing fixtures in the bathroom, and a very worn and lumpy bed mattress. We had a room with a king bed and a sofa, and when we arrived the sofa was made into a bed; the sofa bed mattress was so thin that it offered nearly no padding between one's body and the support straps. It was just one night for us until an early flight so we stayed, but we would not have made a longer stay

This hotel is convenient to FCO in Rome. That’s why we stayed there. The rooms reminded me of college dorm rooms. Spartan and unremarkable. The entire large entry floor of the hotel is filled with tables and chairs as the restaurant is located there. It felt like a dining hall. The food was fine. I would not stay there again unless I’m taking an early flight. It was a bit pricey for the brand.

Ok Hotel for one night to catch an early flight. Excellent shuttle service. 24/7 every 15 minutes!

Perfect for its proximity to the airport. Nothing fancy but perfectly fine place to stay.

Phone number provided for hotel did not work and email messages through Orbitz system went unanswered.

Pros: shuttle to airport was excellent, punctual and ran around the clock every 15 minutes. Cons: we waited in line nearly 45 minutes before we could check in because the process was so slow. The on site restaurant was understaffed and order was not taken for quite some time after being seated. Food was average and incredibly salty. The mattress in the room was very hard and felt rubbery. The sheets were rough and scratchy. The bathroom door was crooked on its hinges and would not close.

When we arrived we asked about validating parking, we were told when we checked out to bring them the ticket and they would validate it, that was a lie I will explain more soon. We go up to our room and key cards will not work, my husband goes back down and the lady says you put the key cards too close to your phone and he explains no I didn’t. She comes back up with two new cards, plus the ones we had finally on 4th card it opens. We change clothes and leave and something just told me to check the card again on the card reader, it did not work. We were locked out of the room. We go down stairs and new lady is at the counter we tell her about situation when we arrived she then again tells us we had cards to close to phone and we explain no we didn’t. She says it has to be it that there is nothing wrong with the lock. My husband goes back up to the room alone and leaves his cell phone with me and the cards don’t work. The lady then makes two more cards and this time I go with her and the door will not open and she doesn’t once apologize. She then call’s maintenance and tells us to go back to room and maintenance. Will meet us up there. Maintenance showed up he tried couldn’t get it unlocked. Finally replaced the batteries and then the card start working, no appologizes. At check out they charge us $21 for parking and I say we should be comped for the inconvenience at check in. The girl the mumbles something to coworker and they both laugh. So rude and disrespectful.

Clean comfortable rooms. Restaurant was better than expected for a hotel near the airport.

The ladies at the front desk were sweet and efficient.

The beds where not good. We book this place prior to our vacation return

Convenient and comfortable for an airport overnight stay.

The airport shuttle was an added bonus. The location to the airport can’t be beat. It was fine for the night we needed to stay in Rome.

It is on airport property in a remote location. Not appealing.
