Hilton Garden Inn Rome Airport

Close to the airport and convenient shuttle to the airport.

Very nice room with a comfy bed and nice bathroom.

This hotel is definitely showing some aging with items not working. Staff simply does not care how they treat you as they know you are in transit. Meals take over an hour to serve. I understand Rome is slower but when you are tired and hungry, you simply want to eat and get out.

Did understand why the bathroom shower door was a half door?

Always a great place to stay when we arrive or leave Italy! Easy and convenient!

Great for what it is free shuttle to the airport close to the airport

Fantastic Experience

You need to take a 10 mins shuttle to get there from terminal 3 arrivals. Hotel is dated and feels like a dormitory. Woke up with multiple bites on legs area especially. Might be bed bugs. I’ve done my check up and did not see anything but in the morning it was itching a lot and notice around 5 clusters of 2-3 bites patterns. Not worth the price, take a 30 mins train to Rome termini for 14€ and stay in a better hotel.

The rooms are large and comfortable. There is no other restaurant in the area, and therefore it was crowded in the evening. On the other hand, the shuttle bus to the airport worked excellent.

Once you get there, it's perfectly serviceable if ridiculously priced, but it's a chore to reach the bus stop at the airport thanks to poor signage. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the morning shuttle to the terminal was easy to use.

Quick and easy stopover prior to our journey back home to the states. Good breakfast, quaint bar and great airport shuttle service.

Location was good for airport access but there was no dining available when we were headed for dinner. The taxi to & from a restaurant in Fiumicino cost more than our meal itself — and we even had a full bottle of wine. As for the free shuttle - why is the signage so bad? It took us forever to find the stop, and then once we found it, we were looking for a bus that had Hilton Garden Inn signage. But we never did. Finally after waiting for close to 45 minutes, someone told me that we had to get the green bus. In hindsight, we had watched quite a number of green busses go by us, but we had no idea they were our shuttle. Why isn’t that little piece of information provided anywhere? It’s not even noted on the official hotel website. Additionally, who in their right mind has an airport shuttle that has no dedicated section for luggage? Everyone on those busses was trying to accommodate larger check-in baggage on a seat next to them, thus reducing the number of seats available for other passengers. Simple put, we’ll never stay at this hotel again.

Thought we picked Hilton that was walking distance from terminal. We did not. Hilton garden inn needs a shuttle bus from outside T3 arrival level by door 4.
