Mercure Rome Leonardo da Vinci Airport

Convenient, clean, friendly staff, good restaurant and near the airport for an early flight the next morning.

We stayed 2 nights at the start of our holiday August 29 to sept 1) and one night at end. Made the booking the same time. I was disappointed when the breakfast was not included on our return booking. The staff was unable to explain what the difference was regarding the 2 bookings as per night pricing was the same. Friendlier check in would have been appreciated.

We stayed here before flying out, and we loved the pool area and how friendly/helpful the staff were. We really didn't have any negative experience.

Enjoyed the outdoor bar as well as the restaurant. Bathrooms were very nice - seemed to be recently renovated. Matress could have been a little more comfortable

I really enjoyed my stay. Great hotel. Great staff. Great breakfast buffet. Super pool. Only 2 little niggles. Mattress rather too firm. No milk supplied with tea-making facilities (but pool bar staff happy to provide it when asked!). Overall, excellent value for money.

Stayed here on way home to USA via Rome airport. Nice hotel and location. I was unable to find their shuttle from airport to hotel so took a 35 euro cab. Shuttle from hotel to airport was fine and easy. Shower was not cleaned since there was a ball of hair on ledge and hair in drain. So I avoided showering there. Staff friendly enough.

Had an incredible (included) breakfast and a very nice dinner as well. The pool area was lovely and we were surprised how quiet it was given the proximity to FCO Airport.

To begin with they sent the airport bus shuttle schedule which was incorrect. This lead to us waiting over an hour for a bus that wasn’t coming at 11pm. We managed to call reception who didn’t apologies and said get a taxi (taxi was 55 euros - 8 minute drive). Upon arriving to the hotel, again no apologies or mention of the error. We arrived to our room which had a terrible smell of smoke, they agreed to move us but this room despite smelling less like smoke was near the bar. Which played music and had people making huge amounts of noise till around 1.30am. We only stayed here for 7 hours before our early morning flight. It’s was terrible. It’s very old, smells, the beds are tiny and uncomfortable. Me and my partner actually laugh about the experience it was so bad. And we have travels to over 50 countries and despite emailing the hotel have not received an apology or anything back. I would avoid this or pay the extra and go to an actual airport hotel. Oh and their shuttle service was available for when we left so had to pay another 55 euro taxi.
