Novotel Milano Malpensa Airport

I stayed at Novotel Milan Malpensa and honestly, it was a pretty awful experience. The reception staff at check-in was unbelievably rude—condescending and dismissive. I reported that the AC wasn’t working in my room, and after waiting over two hours with no action, I went back down to ask for a room change. The guy lied straight to my face saying the hotel was “fully booked” and that I had no choice but to stay in that hot room. Only after arguing and stating I had asthma, did he magically find me another room. Totally unacceptable attitude and zero empathy. The rooms themselves? Old, tired, and far from truly clean—definitely didn’t feel like a 4-star hotel. The whole place felt more like a 2-star operation with a fancy name slapped on. The only saving grace was the restaurant: the staff were kind, professional, and genuinely helpful. The food was great and breakfast was also solid. If it wasn’t for them, this would’ve been a 1-star review. Bottom line: I wouldn’t recommend staying here. If you’re expecting a proper Novotel-standard experience, prepare to be disappointed.

Great hotel to stay at near Malpensa Airport. We decided to stay there on our last night in Italy to be close to the airport since Milan Centrale is an hour away and we had a morning flight. This hotel was perfect, had shuttle service ( for a fee to airport ) and it’s 5 min away . Highly recommend

Once again, the staff were terrific. Friendly accommodating and helpful. It’s nice to find a hotel with a staff or five star.

Close to airport

Service at check-in was indifferent, restaurant delivered raw hamburger (priced at EUR 25), and caprese salad instead of Caesar salad as ordered. Room on first stay was in order and serviceable, room on second stay was not clean and AC did not work. Only stayed here a second time because close to airport.

Room seems is not clean, bath towels are old, need to replace. Front desk is very helpful, it’s close to airport.

prety good hotel with price we paid.

Hotel pool was closed for the entire trip. Staff in the restaurant and bar are very slow in responding to requests. Area around hotel is limited, there is nothing to do or any restaurants nearby.

Parking lot was not lit as webkedtbinbthe morning. Check in was efficient but our room key did not work so we had to return to the reception to have it activated.

Sink was clogged and body soap was empty for 3 days during my stay. air conditioning was not working either. hot water in shower did not stay hot.

Novotel is a little farther from the airport than we expected however, the hotel offers a shuttle for five euro per person. Hotel is clean. Staff are extremely friendly and the breakfast is excellent. The hotel is out in the middle of nowhere so it is a perfect overnight stay pre or post travel but not much more.

The hotel is okay but no access to public transport, taxi and hotel shuttle is very costly. The reception staff are not very helpful especially to tourists who don’t speak their language.

Great service,great moment

Our stay for a night with 2 kids was ok however the sofa bed was small and kids did not get a proper blanket for the night. Other that that hotel was fine.

Staff was nice; hotel was clean

We stayed for a night to catch a 10am flight the next day. We arrived in the evening, check-in was smooth and the room was clean and ready with an infant bed as per our request. We even managed to order and pick-up two pizzas from the restaurant which were quite good! It's a 7 min drive to T1 and probably 4 to T2, very convenient! Will probably stay again.

We stayed at this hotel during an ovenight layover at MXP. Its a short drive to the hotel from the airport, a shuttle service runs regularly..
