Great amenities as an IHG hotel. Right in the train station so it couldn't be more convenient. Everything perfect. Seems like it's been a while since it's had a refresh and at some point could use new carpeting in the halls, but generally a lovely convenient place. Great gym. I was excited about that. Lovely bath gel, shampoo and conditioner in the rooms.

We were given a wrong room from the booking and took over an hour to sort it out. We wasted some time to deal with the room change. The new room was dated and had the minimum of amenities etc. we didn’t feel the room didn’t do justice for the value…..

We stayed in Japan for 3 weeks this summer. The hotels were excellent, except for this one. This was the last 4 days of our trip. This was not a friendly nor clean hotel! I am going to save the specifics of this terrible review for Expedia and The ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe in hopes that they will make it right!

This hotel is not at all luxurious. Our room was old and bordering on dingy. Dated furnishings and very limited technology, like air conditioning control. The gym had equipment that looked like it was from the 1980’s. Good location and views of Kobe.

The facility itself is getting old and dated, reminiscent of the days before the economic bubble burst. Updating the facility by removing old carpeting and updating the bathrooms will renew the hotel for a modern feel. Convenient location for travelers and a great breakfast buffet.

The perfect place to stay when catching the bullet train the next day. There’s a covered walkway that gets you quickly to the station. The breakfast was the best we had in our month in Japan. Staff were welcoming and helpful. We loved the quiet of our room.

1. Queen size bed should be acceptable on both side if it is claiming for two people.

Lots of room, clean with great shower. Good buffet breakfast. Very convenient with covered walk to train station. The only negative was that the bed pillows were way too soft even using 2 of them.

Skip. It’s old and run down and I hope I get my money back because I will complain. This hotel needs a Major MAJOR make over. Especially for Japanese standards. Awful!
