The breakfast buffet was excellent but the air conditioning system was atrocious. It had only 4 settings: off, low, medium, and high. It was not possible to control the specific temperature or humidity level indoors. Despite turning the heat setting off, the room consistently felt so overheated that I had to open the window, exposing the room to external noise and pollution. At one point despite leaving the window open and the heat off, I returned to find the room sweltering - it felt like over 30 degrees Celsius when the outside temperature peaked at around 20 degrees that day. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who isn’t completely insensitive to temperature.

The property is located in a very convenient location, right above the train station and shopping malls.
Check-in was easy. There is no parking facility in the hotel but it offers discounts for hotel guests to park in nearby facilities. Staff was helpful. Rooms were a bit run down but generally neat and tidy. It was very good for the price.

Need to improve service level. Reception barely speak English. A few times reception desk was unmanned and it was during office hours. Parking is chargeable, expensive and complicated. Rooms are small to the point of being uncomfortable and theres no common area for guest. Breakfast was very good in variety, taste and value.

Location is amazing. Considerable amount of night shopping in the area for Niigata. There are nearby car parks for 700 yen a night. The beds were very stiff and the pillows were filled with beads. Very uncomfortable for those used to soft bedding.

Location is great, right within the station with lots to shop and eat! Room was a little small but overall was pretty clean! Easy to navigate to and from the hotel.
