The hotel is perfectly situated for ferry day trips, to make use of the airport limousine bus (non stop bus to and from the airport), and to explore the nightlife and restaurants in the evening. The bus lines meet at the bus terminal which is also in easy walking distance from the hotel. The room was spacious for Japan and the balcony was a nice extension to the room space. Breakfast was bountiful and well worth including in your stay. For me it was exactly what I needed in order to be explore the islands around Ishigaki

The hotel is a little outdated and can be a little cleaner but is not dirty, can use an update. Loved there is no carpet in the rooms, linen was super clean, the room ammenities were good quality. The best part was the breakfast, the food was amazing and the staff. The staff was so helpfuland so nice even work around the language barriers to help us. TWe had to extend due to the typhoon and they were super accomodating. I can’t thank the staff enough. Every person we encounter was nice and plesant. The location of the hotel is perfect to go island hopping, take the bus or simple walk around downtown. Is far from the beach but the island is not that big so it was not an issue. The only negative thing was the no parking, it can get expensive paying x it hourly

I enjoyed my stay and the ocean view. The location was convenient for walking around Ishigaki downtown and to the ferry terminal to visit other islands like Taketomi and to the bus terminal back to the airport.

Full of fungus smell like you can still feel from your clothes after check out.
Highly likely you will sleep with cockroaches here and there. Saw a few on TV table and bathroom during our three days there.
Make sure you turn all your lights on so that they are not coming out.
Can’t believe I paid 35,000yen per night at this place. What an unfortunate price for the quality.

We chose this hotel for the sea views and were not disappointed. However the room was old, the beds were rock hard and the pillows were flimsy. We both slept very badly. No power sockets near the beds (for charging phones), basically the rooms need to be modernised.
The location is extremely convenient (a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal and airport bus) but the rooms were far too expensive for what we got.

Pros: great location, close to the port and bus terminal, two FamilyMarts nearby, lovely view of the port especially during sunset hours, friendly and helpful staff who spoke great English, rooms were tidy
Cons: rooms look a bit old and not well-maintained, there were some stains and picture frame marks on the walls in our room

There is no parking and not able to arrange the double bed without further advise unless we request, a bit old of utility and the bedding is a bit stiff, not so soft but it s clean and tidy and the location is very good whatever to any direction of the island

Staff was helpful but hotel is worn down and the facility has no charm. Further more it is excessively overpriced in comparison with other hotels nearby. Don’t recommend it unless you really need to be close by the harbor.
