The hotel looks a bit dated but the rooms turn out to be well renovated and spacious as compared to other hotels which are near the train station in Japan. The breakfast is good and serves local Nagasaki's dishes for tourist to try, although it gets a bit boring after a few nights stay and pretty much the same breakfast items everyday. All in all, I would consider the hotel as valued for money factoring transportation accessibility, cleanliness and room conditions.

Not impressed. The day we arrived we tried to go to the restaurant for lunch while we waited for our room. 1 was closed for the day, 2 was full and only with a reservation, 3 - rooftop closed at 1:30. Went back to the desk and was told to go to the food court in the shopping center next door. Asked for reservations for dinner that evening for the rooftop restaurant and we were told none available for the next 2 nights. The room was plenty large enough but the beds were the hardest I’ve ever encountered and they have what seemed to be a metal frame you felt through the cover. Breakfast was included but we were made to wait for entry even though there were empty tables. Our last day we couldn’t get breakfast as we were told to wait but they couldn’t say how long and we needed to go to the airport.

The location of the hotel is excellent, right outside the train station (take a right, and there is a door by the Family Mart. No need to climb any stairs or go up on the skyway.) But the hotel is showing some wear and tear. The faucet in my sink dripped incessantly and the button on the bedside table to turn off the room lights did not work. The only way to turn off all the room lights at night was to pull the card key from the slot at the door, which unfortunately also turned off the AC. But the location was excellent.

The New Nagasaki hotel was good on our two previous visits but has been refreshed and is now excellent.
Staff were very helpful especially the Nepalese staff member, think his name is Chaphi, who was exceptional.

Very nice hotel near the train station, with excellent public transportation access. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Attentive staff and good breakfast buffet. Nice, decent sized room.

Amazing location and the rooms are a good size and bigger than we originally thought. Staff were very friendly and hospitable throughout our stay. Within a five minute walk of the main train station, buses and shopping complexes. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Had a nice stay. Good location. Mattresses were cheaper. Rooms facing the main road were loud at night. Great front desk staff. Close to a great food court and food outlets mall!
