Excellent cleanliness and attention to details, loved the mineral onsen provided for guests. The breakfast is an amazing spread of healthy options (very typical Japanese breakfast foods) for a great price (when breakfast was added as an option through hotels.com - it's double the price if you buy on-site). The free airport shuttle is really awesome as the location isn't that near the Yui monorail (which is probably going to be the only public transport most people would take in Okinawa), but is extremely close to the airport by car (takes 10-15min, so shuttle can go back and forth many times throughout the day). Rooftop area is also nice, offering almost 360 degree views of the surrounding areas and nearby ocean. Check-in/out is also automated through self-check-in kiosks which was fast and efficient. Only downside for some might be that the location isn't as central or close to the Yui monorail, however is still walkable (budget ~20min+) and make sure to choose the right roads and sides of roads to walk on to optimize the path, especially near highway 58, which you need to cross overhead walkways to reach the Yui monorail and Kokusai-dori on the other side, and account for the way traffic lights there can take several minutes to change unlike in North America. Based on what this hotel offers, it would probably cost at least double per night if it were more central.

Great Japanese style breakfast buffet with some western options. Love the balcony soaking tub! The onsen was lovely, be prepared to not be allowed if you have tattoos that cannot be covered.

Great property. The rooftop pool and bar are awesome, including all you can drink (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). The train station is about a 10 minute walk.

We had a two twin room. The room is tiny, unable to open suitcases. Sound insulation is not good; you can hear people talking or waking outside the hallway which is pretty annoying. Air conditioning is not central air, the light of the air-con is super bright right above your head thus unable to sleep w this kind of brightness.

The hotel itself is fairly nice and appears to be one of the more modern buildings in Okinawa. The room is good quality for the price. The rooftop pool requires an additional daily fee which was not apparent until check-in. The location is where this hotel struggles. The hotel is in the middle of the red light district, which makes walking around after dark feel semi-uncomfortable. Additionally there are limited amenities (7-eleven or restaurants) within walking distance. Overall, good value for money, however I would recommend having a car for getting to more pedestrian friendly areas.

Hotel Sansui was decent but very expensive compared to other locations in Naha. The room was nice and the staff were very helpful. The area is in the middle of Naha's red light district and we had no idea when booking. So if you have a family, you may have some different or uncomfortable conversations as the shops on the same block are all "soap" rooms and adult centric. The public amenities like the pool and spa are not tattoo friendly, also didn't know that when booking. Also if your not on the top floors, you pay a daily fee to use the amenities. Overall our stay was okay but next time we will be staying in downtown Naha as the area is really bad for how expensive this hotel is and not equivalent to hotels that were 1/2 the price in downtown Naha. Lesson learned. So I'm giving the Hotel Sansui a rating of 3/5.

Overall a good hotel. Way off the beaten path, but they always had a car available to go into Naha. Buffet for breakfast and dinner was mediocre at best. Good luck finding plates or a half full dining option. Most pans were empty every meal. They changed their rules at the pool depending on what staff was on duty. Posted rules did not match what was enforced which really dampered my kids' fun. If the staff would clean up their act, this would be a great place to staycation or family trip.

Very small room, no chair. I would not advise getting the lowest priced room for more than one night. Breakfast was very good though. Beware, you have to pay $3000 yen per adult to access the pool on top which is nice and has beautiful views. You get all you can drink but its limited to beer, softdrinks, and some insipid lime sour drink. Theres also a bar restaurant on top but they only serve appetizers. The hotel is in the red light district with a number or massage places nearby but nothing going on in the street. Theres also some very good restaurants nearby and the public beach and shrine about 6 blocks away are both worth a visit.

Clean place, polite staff & not far from the beach but very disappointed with the room which consisted of a huge bed but no balcony or windows to look out of. Was a little scary walking around and there were a string of love motels along the street, wouldn’t walk around there at night! No amenities in the room, everything had to be bought from the reception area.

The property was very nice and clean. There were a lot of amenities and a little shop inside. I was very let down by the roof top pool. It was closed to guests unless you were on the 11-14 floor you had to pay 3,000 yen. This should be on the website as I was looking forward to the sky pool and chose this hotel for that reason. The hotel was a bit removed from bus stops and the mono rail and to walk to those stops you had to go through a neighborhood with a ton of brothel type places. Aside from that it was a nice stay.
