Hotel is located about 5 minutes walk from hakata station. There’s an underground entrance right next to hotel. For people coming in from the airport via subway, access to hotel is very convenient as it’ll be a short walk to the exit next to hotel. Unfortunately, exit has no escalators, so those with big luggage and not willing to walk up the stairs, you would have to exit via the main station (Shinkansen). Room was clean, small though for single room.

The hotel was a bit dated and the room and carpet had cigarette smell. But the location was great. Hakata station was in front of the hotel as well as the taxi and bus terminals. There's also a tax free shop beside the hotel selling souvenirs and stuff at a lower price than donki. The hotel staff were kind and very helpful which made up for what the hotel lacks. Will definitely stay here again.

It is conveniently located in front of Hakata Railway Station. The room was small but it is good because this is what I got for what I paid for. Check in was done with a self-check-in machine but this machine was ill-designed and couldn't complete without help of the staff. Entering my name and address with a touch pen was a challenge.
The room was clean but the facilities were old. So A/C fan and bathroom fan were noisy. WiFi was occasionally disconnected.
Free coffee and free amenities in the lobby were great. Overall, my experience in this hotel was just a par but without troubles. Considering the low price, the hotel is a bargain.

The room was terribly hot. The ventilation system seemed to have broken down completely. We opened the window but the room was still stuffy and hot. Even the hotel lent us a fan, it did not help much. We endured the night with bad quality of sleep.
Hotels in Japan have heating system on through winter, but never have we experienced such extreme heat. When one steps out from the elevator into the floor we stayed on (9/F of Block 3), the heat felt overwhelming right away.

I was first impressed by the cool check-in machines. A staff member walked me through the process and was friendly and professional. Room was totally comfortable and clean and the location was amazingly convenient. No complaints, especially for the price. Thank you for making me feel welcomed and comfortable!

Sunlife Hotel 2 and 3 is very good hotel. Just across from Hakata station only 5 mins. This location is very easy to go anywhere , many coffees shop , resturant , souvenir etc. The Staff are very welcome , only some can not understand english , I asked for adapter 2 pin (I prepared 3 pin) he didn't understand , leave me and talk to the other guest. And Wifi very slow. But overall are good , please listen and improve , thank you to make us
