Metropole Hotel

Very old hotel. Smell moldy old. Charge for mineral water. Location is good.

room has an old rug smell . furthermore we booked a No Smoking room but other rooms in the same floor seems to allow smoking. They shld have a no-smoking floors . the room next to ours smoke heavily .

The room had strange lingering smell and wasnt very clean. It triggered my dust allery. Won't stay again. The location was great.

Everything was good, just the mattress was so hard

Hotel is strategically located because it's so near the senado square and the man made lake.

Location is well Center to Macau attractions. Our room was very quiet, comfortable and spacious. Service was excellent. The breakfast was ok, the breakfast room a bit small for the number of guests

The location is excellent for visiting historic sections of Macau and close to a free shuttle to casino resorts in Cotai. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. We had adjoining family rooms and the second room had twin beds and a sofa bed, perfect for three children. The rooms were pokey with little natural light. It is a very old hotel and, though clean, feels rundown. Breakfast is very basic.

Friendly English and Chinese speaking front desk staff. Decent location, near food and shopping.

The duplex was value for money as we had paid a special price not offered by the other hotel booking sites As I have a strong sense of smell, I detected a slight musty smell from the shower curtain after a shower. Perhaps the hotel could consider using a curtain made of synthetic material to prevent such smells. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, given the attention the hotel paid to the cleanliness, decor and amenities in our room

they need to renovate the bathroom; it looks very old, rusted, not so clean and outdated. Other than that it’s a good budget hotel . It’s located at the center of the city. It’s very convenient location and you can pretty get around in walking distance. The hotel provides free shuttle to ferry terminal. The staffs are helpful too

Very convenient hotel in the centre of town ,,the room was a bit smaller than I would have liked and the Wardrobe was tiny but everything worked and it was clean . breakfast was rather local but as I would have preferred a more Western breakfast but there were plenty of other cafes nearby to top up on the breakfast experience. staff were friendly and helpful at the front desk and although most of the dining staff were Chinese some did speak English

The location is perfect . The staffs was informative . But most of them seem unwilling to wish the guest . Unlike other hotel I stay before . They never wish the guests morning , afternoon or evening ...and seems their smiling is costly to them :) Most of them look serious and stress ...

No discretionary resolutions for unable entering Macau due to special safety arrangement that we can't even check in.No refund and no booking change is allowed.

Easy check in and out. Hotel is clean, and feels fresh as you enter the assigned room. The bathroom is well maintained as well. The size of the room is ok.

I booked a room for 4 people for two days. Photos shown and explanation provided on hotels.com was two queen beds with tv area with sofa and tables etc. I paid extra as I wanted 4 of us to stay in same room. Single room with queen/king bed was half price, but I opted to pay for option I wanted/liked. when I checked in I got one bed and one sofa bed which was uncomfortable, low and small. I went to front desk and spoke to manager, who gave me another option which was split level but same issue one queen and one sofa bed. Language was also problem. In the end I opted for second option. It was uncomfortable and not what I paid for. Breakfast was below par rather poor. Room service was ok Front desk service was poor. I requested to call cab at checkout and lady on front desk declined with some stupid reason (cannot use hotel phone)
