the hotel is currently on renovation progress so the receptionist is in the 1st floor. over all is good. nice staff, clean room, comfy bed, tasty breakfast. behind the hotel is full of food street in the evening. highly recommended

Citrus is always in my mind when visiting JHB. Love everything of Citrus. The staff are helpful. Pak Addy dan kak Indah vwry helpful during check in and check out.

Lobby is OK but when exit from lift to our rooms, it have some kind of mouldy smell. Once we went into our room. There are aso mould smell bed sheet have stain when blanket remove. The worse is one of our room the towels are so smelly … don't dare to shower for the next day before check out. V bad experience. Will not choose there again and price not so worth to stay. More better option for this kind of pricing.

Overall it 's a good hotel. Delicious breakfast and good food quality. But I notice a few problem such as the hot water are unbalanced, sometimes its too hot or too cold. I booked a standard room with non-smoking room request. I have stayed twice and get a room with view. This time, the room interior is pretty neat, we get a window but no view. The bathroom also has a small window for circulation but I find it a little bit creepy because it facing a pipe room, and a bit noisy at night because of water dropping. It has the best staff, location, and cleanliness. Back in 2017 and 2018, I stayed in Citrus Hotel twice before renovation, and this year I come back to Citrus and it still amazing, even better 👍.
