I recently stayed at the Kinta Riverfront Hotel & Suites and had a great experience. The room was spacious and clean, making for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. While the service was okay overall, the standout was undoubtedly Mr. Kartikh, the reception staff at the Riverview Coffee House. His unwavering helpfulness and trustworthiness made a lasting impression, showcasing him as a truly valuable asset to the hotel. The room I stayed in was clean and sufficient. I love the breakfast setting. Ala kampung and enjoyed some traditional dishes very much. Ambiance was quiet and nearby to Pasar Karat on Sunday, you can just have a short walk. Overall, very pleasant stay and would recommend it.

As announced by Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Tourism Tax is imposed starting 1 January 2023 for all hotel guests that are non-Malaysian or non-permanent Residents of Malaysia. Please expect that hotel will collect the Tourism Tax from you during check-in at the hotel. The Tourism Tax rate is 10 RM per room per night.



Deposit Policy
Deposit 0 is required upon check-in. The accommodation accepts cash, debit or credit card.

Breakfast at the accommodation will be provided from 07:00 - 10:30.

The following additional request are strictly subjected to availability and will be charged by property upon check-in / check-out.

a. Buffet breakfast: MYR 65 for adults and MYR 42 for children
b. Airport shuttle fee: MYR 50 per vehicle per way
c. Self-parking fee: MYR 4 per day
d. Rollaway bed fee: MYR 90 per room per night (upon request and subjected to availability)

The above list may not be comprehensive. Fees and deposits may not include tax and are subject to change. Kindly contact hotel for more information.

Safety deposit of RM1,000.00 nett (refundable) to be collected upon check-in for the following room types:

A mandatory RM10 Tourism Tax (TTx) will be imposed on all hotel room rates on a per room per night basis to all non-Malaysian guests. This is imposed by Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMDC) effective from September 2017. This amount is to be collected by the Hotel, on behalf of the RMDC upon check-out. All Malaysian Nationals and Permanent Residents are exempted from paying this tax with valid proof or ID presented at front desk upon check-in. (Tourism tax will be exempted from July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021.)

Please be informed that the swimming pool will be closed if it's bad weather conditions.

I recently stayed here during Thaipusam season. Their room and breakfast is good, but the room service food is really expensive. Moreover, they charged for parking. Even underground parking, they charged per hour RM2. I'm not sure why you are charging for hotel underground parking. The hotel should provide free parking for their customers. I think you should consider the parking fee. We pay for the hotel plus need to pay for parking also? Also, the baby cot with a stainless steel frame is like a hospital crib. TV channels also not clear at all.

Close to the city center, quiet place, close to tourist destinations. Lastly, I booked an apartment type but there was a problem with the balcony door not being able to lock. The staff quickly responded and changed to a hotel type without any additional costs.
