As announced by Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Tourism Tax is imposed starting 1 January 2023 for all hotel guests that are non-Malaysian or non-permanent Residents of Malaysia. Please expect that hotel will collect the Tourism Tax from you during check-in at the hotel. The Tourism Tax rate is 10 RM per room per night.
Deposit Policy
Deposit 0 is required upon check-in. The accommodation accepts cash, debit or credit card.

Smoking is prohibited in the accommodation.
Pets are not allowed in the accommodation.
Travel restriction has been eased for National Recovery Plan Phase 2.0 states effective 16 August 2021, guests are required to provide proof of full vaccination in the form of MySejahtera digital certificate when making hotel booking/during check-in at reception. Shahzan Hotel Kuantan is accepting guests who are fully vaccinated and 14 days after receiving the second dose of vaccine
Effective 1st March 2022, guests are required to pay MYR 3 per room per night for Cukai Kelestarian (Sustainability Tax) imposed by the State Government. This is not included in the room rate and will be paid directly at the hotel.

第一次來這裡…好吧，我來評價一下…
1. 前台態度傲慢，被問到問題時還很不耐煩，對顧客很不友善。感覺他們根本不理人，不過還好，唯一一個服務態度還不錯的人…
2. 還好，房間朝向清真寺，視野還不錯。對穆斯林比較友善…
3. 離夜市和塔樓很近…走過去就到了…
4. 自助餐還可以…還行…3.5/5
5. 有個游泳池……但不大……40泰銖的價格還算可以……值得……

The hotel is in the centre of Kuantan Town, so its easy to find. Its an old hotel. Free parking provided in the basement and few parking outside the hotel. The room quite small but the bed is comfy. Shower room also small little space to move around. Breakfast tasty with a few choices. One of the cheapest room in town. We enjoyed our morning walk at a field in front of the hotel. Oo yes, the hotel staff are helpful and informative. Worth staying and we will stay again next time.

kalau request apa² tak pernah dpt. kadang tu kita book 2 malam blh pulak receptionist tanya 'oh book 2 malam ke?' soalan apakah ini? u as a receptionist takkan tak tahu guest stay bpe malam. tak buat preparation ke sebelum guest sampai untuk check in? i booking seminggu awal u patut take note request by guest (ex. high floor, city view room etc.) tp bila i sampai nak check in u boleh pulak bagitahu lain kali kena remark kan dekat booking untuk special request. I dah siap remark ok waktu i booking. tolong la letak receptionist yg tahu buat kerja kat front desk. Please improve you punya front office dept!

Kali ni adalah kali ke2 saya menginap di Shahzan Inn Kuantan. Saya memilih Shahzan Inn sekali kerana pada pertama kali saya menginap, persekitaran cantik, layanan baik, bilik kemas, bilik dgn harga sebegitu ada menyediakan peti ais dan iron serta iron board dlm bilik. Sangat2 selesa.
Cuma kali ini, terdapat bau yang kurang menyenangkan bermula dari tempat parking belakang yg berbayar kpd PBT, di lobi, persekitaran level 7 dan parking bwh tanah.
Saya harap pihak hotel boleh ambil maklum ttg isu ini. Itu sahaja.
