Hotel Plaza Cozumel

Wonderful staff!

Centrally located. Very clean. Cold AC. Great hot breakfast. Extremely attentive staff. This is my second time in the last year at this hotel, and the hotel was perfect for me just like the first time. Our friend Group had four rooms booked, and everybody is as satisfied as me.

The location was perfect. Walking distance from the ferry terminal and a couple of rent car companies. The staff were kind and the breakfast and rooftop pool were very nice. The night club in front of the hotel was a little noisy, but not a serious problem.

Simple clean comfortable rooms; easy walk from the ferry, restaurants, and shops; free breakfast; there’s a bakery next door and a drug store on the corner. Taxi stand down the block. Bar soap and small shampoo bottles provided but no conditioner. The windows have regular curtains not blackout, so if city lights bother you bring an eye mask to sleep. Go watch the sunset from the great bar / restaurant down the block called Aqui + Ahora. Or you can watch the sunset from the rooftop pool at this hotel. The pool is fantastic - clean and well-maintained with beautiful views and lots of seating. Overall very happy with this hotel.

We stay here often. It's a great value, convenient to everything.

Great location downtown near the square and waterfront. The bed and pillow were very comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower. The front desk people helped us with all our questions and needs. GREAT free breakfast with fresh fruit and bread and made to order hot food. A bakery is 10 steps next door and we smelled wonderful fresh bread all the time!

Awesome breakfast, VERY friendly front desk staff, VERY safe and an amazing location! Ive stayed here several times as well as other hotels on the island and this is by far my favorite place to stay!

This was our 5th year at this hotel. We will return. Staff and front desk are always greeting us and very friendly. Helpful if needed. Spent 2 weeks there. The roof top deck and pool are great. The pool water always clean and planters always looked after. Pool water very cool all the time. We where the only ones brave enough to use it in the two week. Could use a pool heater. But overall great two weeks.

I have stayed here multiple times. Great central location. Excellent breakfast. Staff is very welcoming and accommodating. The property, rooms, dining area, and pool area are very clean and well-maintained. It is not a fancy place and the ocean view is obstructed by buildings and rooftops, but it works out great for exploring the downtown, shopping, and experiencing local dining options. We taxi to the marina for dive trips. The hotel is near restaurants and clubs, so there is often late night noise of live music and people’s voices. The biggest problem we had this time was an annoying security alarm from a retail store on the main drag that was going off all night. Very annoying and frustrating. Not much the property could do about, but I will bring earplugs next time.

This hotel is in the middle of the city, so getting to the Marina for scuba diving took a while. There was limited parking spots. The facilities are aging but the staff keep them clean and are friendly

There was an alarm in a very close store that would go off ALL night. It was extremely difficult to get any rest. Staff was always friendly as usual!

Great location!

Easy access to walk along the waterfront. Steps away from the Ferry from Playa Del Carmen. The most amazing breakfast with lots of food choices. The coffee was delicious. Staff are very friendly. A quaint modest hotel accommodating your basic needs. Low key. Would definitely stay again.
