Holiday Inn EINDHOVEN, an IHG Hotel

This is a nice stay for Eindoven downtown. My only criticism is that they charge so much for parking! I thought it was not reasonable for hotel guests.

We had a lovely time staying here while visiting for the Glow festival.

Staff really friendly, rooms comfortable and clean. Breakfast was 1st class

Room is very smelly and carpet dirty.

The hotel is in walking distance to bus stops, grocery store, shopping center, and restaurants. The staffs are very nice and friendly. The hotel is old and well maintained. The room cleaning does not come in time. We have to ask reception desk to prioritize our room when we leave the room for a few hours. We found some stains on our bed sheets and towels.

Overall hotel environment is good, but the temperature of shower water is not stable and not strong enough. The tissue box is also fixed in the toilet which is not convenient for me.

Pillows are too fat big so had a sore neck. Had to use my coat. Have one small thin at least.

We enjoyed our stay.

We arrived very early in the morning, we was able to leave our bags in storage for the day. A short walk from the train station. It was about 10/15 minutes into the main areas. The Phillips stadium is also walkable. Spacious rooms. Great for price

Excellent location for Eindhoven centre and for walking to family and other places. Consistently good service from friendly staff. Rooms clean and comfortable. Will stay again

When I booked on Expedia I booked a standard room I selected the wrong one a standard room can be a room with 2 twin beds.. my receipt only said standard room so I didn’t realize I had made a mistake. Ms.Martina the manager on duty was unwilling to make a simple change and I called Expedia Gold… although I am now platinum and still Expedia would not contact the hotel to help me get the right room. What do you think about that? I went to the Expedia website and I saw that they still had other standard rooms at the same price available. So they just didn’t want to do it. And Ms. Martina gave us the noisiest room. The person upstairs must have had dumbells and continuously dropping them. I am sure that these hotels give Expedia customers always a bad room at the end of the hall or near the elevator. And never is Expedia able to help you with a problem, they say sorry sorrry. I better off fighting gwith the hotel directly by booking with them directly I think then they would appreciate the $170 a paid a little more. I unhappy with Ms.Martina and Expedia!!!!

Excellent location with helpful staff. Enjoyable breakfast with plenty of choices. Comfortable and spacious room.
