Holiday Inn Express AMSTERDAM - SLOTERDIJK STATION by IHG, an IHG Hotel

The location is good, right next to Sloterdijk train station. The service from the front desk was a let down. They were cold and on multiple occasions when I politely said thank you during check in or check out, there was absolutely no acknowledgement in return, not even a smile.

This is an excellent facility for the Sloterdijk area. Very easy approach from the airport and the Central train station. The breakfast is always sumptuous and a good variety. More and better staff attention will be appreciated for isolated Incidents, like our sink clog. Even after we reported twice, no fix was arranged upto the time of our check out.

I found the hotel in good order, my room was very clean and comfortable. The bath room had an excellent shower! The dining area was very clean and the team were around cleaning all the time. All the food was well stocked and excellent quality. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. All round every thing was great!

The location is super convenient! A bit far from the city center but you have all public transportation options literally outside the hotel, so just plan ahead time-wise. All of the staff was really attentive, we arrived a bit early and were kindly assigned a room right away. Breakfast doesn’t have many options, but it’s tasty and a good way to start your day. Taking a star off just because the rugs are a bit dirty, and mainly because our shower had a constant leak and when using it the water would randomly go from super hot to super cold so it was quite uncomfortable to shower.

perfect hotel for the price! its right next to the train station so its only a short train ride away to Amsterdam Centraal! Also theres a connivence store right below the hotel that closes at 12am!

Extreme close to transportation

Excellent location. Train, tram and bus optiond. Not many food options around. All we needed for overnight stay.

Nice staff, fast check in and out, one minute from the station.

The hotel building itself is just ok but the area around it is a disaster. Lots of sketchy people from the dark continent hanging out right in front of ther hotel until all hours of the night yelling and playing loud music on portable speakers making passersby feel uncomfortable.I wont be staying there again. Also, the set up was strange, you accessed you room from the main floor but reception was on the second floor so there was no security at all at the entrance floor, I came in one night to see a homeless guy sleeping in the corner of the elevator lobby. Do youself a favour and spend the extra money to stay in Centrum. At least the sketchy people there have some charcter.

Perfect for our requirements. Very clean and tidy throughout. Good breakfast choices. They swapped cleaning of room for drinks which was a nice touch. Great transport links all services. Would stay again.

Great location next to a train station to airport and downtown. Good breakfast. Stag can be a bit friendlier. Rooms were clean.

We were offered a free drink for the first day to have no cleaning in our room because the hotel was full. We didn’t receive any cleaning the whole 4 days despite being told it was only for 1 day. Charged 6 euros to store our bags, never had to pay for this service in any other hotel. It seems like a busy hotel constantly trying to save on costs
