Always stay in Ruby when visiting Amsterdam. Good ambiance, good location, just perfect. Near McD, metro station, Amstel River, and mini market. Will be back when visiting Amsterdam again. The restaurant along Amstel River is nice to try, too.

The lounge bar is a highlight — the bartenders are incredibly kind and make the experience even more enjoyable. Location is also excellent, with a tram stop just a five-minute walk away, offering easy access to anywhere in the city. Overall, the amenities were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making this a great place to stay.

The hotel bar staff is fantastic during our whole stay, with lovely conversations and recommendations!
Unfortunately, our check-in experience was poor as we were given a room that was not clean. However, the hotel staff was very understanding in quickly getting us a new room.
The hotel itself advertises air-conditioned rooms, which made us ultimately choose this over a neighbouring hotel. However, the air-conditioning was very poor, and felt like it struggled to get below 25 celsius.
The hotel itself is very chic, and the location is quiet but super accessible to central Amsterdam, given the metro station being only a two-minute walk away. The hotel is located in a suburb and has little nearby dining or shopping opportunities in walking distance.

We had a lovely 1st stay in Amsterdam. Helen got our room available early after landing from US. Andrea provided gr8 Metro directions to get us about. Sean gave us walking guidance and Dylan makes a mean capucino and shares hus b ball knowledge. We felt at home. Killer room exterior shades!

Great hotel on the outskirts of town. Easy metro connections to the centre and about a 15 min walk to Amstel train station. Lovely, comfortable room with good sound proofing and blackout blinds. Only downside was the boiling water tap in the galley on our floor was faulty so had to go down a level to make tea.

Wonderful hotel with kind staff. My daughter and I had a lovely stay. We liked the sustainability practiced by the hotel and as a young teen my daughter enjoyed the technology (ipad) controlled room. Hotel is a short metro ride from Amsterdam Centraal with regular trains including late into night. We recommend the hotel and would love to stay at Ruby Emma again

We really enjoyed our stay here - the staff are amazing. Everyone is so kind. I particularly enjoyed Joy, who took extra good care of us. The hotel itself is stylish and lovely. The food and drinks were great. It's a slight trek into the city central, but the train is a 5-minute walk and incredibly easy to navigate. It was nice staying out of the chaos. I would definitely stay here again!

This is one of the nicest properties that I have stayed at in Europe, very modern, spacious and high tech. It is further from the city center but is only a 2 minute walk to the train station, the Wow room really lived up to its name.
